I'd like to know what fish everyone is catching during THIS fishing event. Especially the big ones. Please include location and the lure you used!

Nile Perch and Giant Barb really love the lavender/pink lures. I caught them in most of the spots with this lure.
If you watch the fish jump out of the areas, you can get a clue as to what's in there.
I caught lots of Lake Sturgeon, zanders, carp, etc plus a couple red tipped catfish. Was done in record time from all the tips and hints in the fishing guide. Two fish left to complete my book. Picked up 2-3 diamond levels from the book by catching the gold weight or whatever the 1,2,3 diamonds per fish means.
Plent of sturgeon and Nile carp in spots 11 and 12 which are not shown on the chart.
ALSO, CONTARY TO THE CHART, I HAVE JUST CAUGHT A GOLD WEIGHT REDTAIL CATFISH WITH A GREEN LURE!!!! I also caught one with a red lure, as suggested by the chart.
I am still missing Gold Medal event fish for the Nile Perch, Carp and Giant Barb despite repeatedly targeting where the chart says they are. I get the impression that if you want to avoid the common event fish (Sturgeon on blue and Zander on Green), you need to drop the more docile fish. The others appear to fight more to me - does that match others' experience?
The fishing chart is not accurate regarding the weight of fish, as I realized after burning through several gold lures in area 3 and catching only bronze and silver weight carps.
Since then I used only green lures after the carp, and caught gold weight carps with green in areas 2, 8, and 9. I caught gold weight lake sturgeons with purple in area 4 and blue in area 7. I'm still after the gold Nile perch and suspect it can be caught anywhere with blue, just luck of the draw. In fact, I'm beginning to suspect that all event fish weights can caught anywhere the particular fish shows, with blue or green.
In my experience the perch isn't usually a very active fish, but it's hard to tell because sometime the sturgeon is very docile and sometimes its quite fighty. Stansdad, I can't remember where I found the gold weight barb because it was in a prior event but suspect purples in areas 4, 12, and 9 are your best bets. Good luck!
Just fished another gold weight sturgeon, this time area 8 with a blue lure. No gold nile perch yet though, rats.
Rats, my last blue lure hooked another gold weight sturgeon, this time a blue lure in the spot marked area 10 in the wiki (unmarked bottom center-right in the guide).
Need another fishing event for the gold nile perch I guess. Oh well.
