Mostly an anti-spam bump, but... it's not so much that you suck at walls as much as having other priorities. Given wall weight in war, it makes sense to get offense and other defenses up before finishing your walls.

I am finally working on maxing walls b4 going to TH9, just because I know I won't be interested in building them up with all of the other "fun" upgrades that TH9 opens.

I am the total opposite, I could upgrade to max infernos or I could get 2 zap walls done...walls usually win. I love upgrading walls and just hate the long wait times for defences.
