Max Archer Queen or start with da King?

Hello :-)

A few months ago I started farming DE for my AQ, wanted to max her (lvl 30 th9)
Right now my queen is lvl 25, but my clan told me its better to get my king at lvl 25 before I start with the last 5 lvls.
My king is just lvl 11 because I foccused on my queen.

What would you do? Get the queen to lvl 30 and then start with the king?
Or get my king to lvl 25 and then start with the last 5 lvls?

*I do not war, I am a farmer*

Upgrade times are no problem since I gem the remaining time as soon as I got enough DE for the next lvl.
I hope for some helpfull reactions.

i would get my king up to 15 maybe just because he would be beefier for your max lvl queen and get an iron fist upgrade

might as well finish off the queen. You're almost there and now. Then you wil have a maxed queen protecting your village while your king is upgrading.

I'd stop calling him "da king" if you are going to be ignoring him like that and giving all your attention to the AQ.... but really, that is a solid strategy. The AQ upgrades are more expensive so when you start upgrading your BK it will be much easier by comparison.

It's 3:40 am, but I'll help!

Anyhow, I would do King since he is cheaper. And if you can, do both.
Once king is up high at least he will be a decent replacement while Queen is away.

I would start doing the king and when you have enough DE to do both give the queen a level.

Upgrade Queen without 2nd thought.Why?
Queen can attack both ground and air units
While the king can only attack ground units.

Queen has range attack which reduces the need of attacking that wall.(In fact she possess the longest attack range of all units in this game)
While king is busy chipping that wall.

Obviously Queen has better Dps than king.(Low health doesn't matter anyway,You have golem)
While king is just inferior version of golem and pekka.

What makes you think that King is better to upgrade than Queen?

Sure, the queen is more important than the king. But is having a level 40 queen and level 1 king better than having both at 30? Absolutely not! But that's what your argument is essentially trying to say. The king upgrades are so much cheaper I'd probably get him to at least 20 before finishing off the queen, but it's entirely up to you?

I'm leaving my king at 20 while I max my queen. I play casually so unlikely I will have enough de to upgrade both simultaneously.

I would consider upgrading the king at the same time to save some gems. Upgrade the queen, when you get enough DE start the king's upgrade, when you get enough DE to do your queen again go ahead and gem her and upgrade her again. This will save you a few gems and get some of your king upgrades done while you do the last 5 levels of queen.

The Barbarian King is just a meat-shield for your Archer Queen. Not maxing her now would be pointless, especially since she is the key to most farming attacks.

If you can do with a low lvl king go for maxing queen first.

As I see it ..

.. you are wasting time, every time you have enough resources to upgrade a hero, but don't.

Start the upgrade of your (cheap) King as soon as you can.. continue farming, upgrade the Queen as soon as you have enough resources. You might have some days with parallel hero upgrades going and you might be able to farm enough for the next King level sooner than you think.

Every time you can make parallel upgrades, you are gaining time.

I got my king and queen both to 20 and then my queen straight to 30. Working on last few levels for king, he's upgrading to 21 currently.

I have a 30 bk and 33 aq going to 34. I keep aq 5 ahead of bk in 5 level incriments. Having a beefy king in front of your aq is very important and maxing her with a puny king is a mistake from a war perspective. 5-10 levels is all you will want your aq to be ahead if you want to matter in war imo.
