Strange Happenings

About an hour ago, I was working on a different app and got a notification that my village was being attacked. Naturally, I flipped over to watch but there was no indication that I was being or had been attacked. There was nothing in the attack log, cc troops were intact, xbows, infernos, and bombs were armed. So I figured that some guy let his timer run out and left without dropping troops.

40 minutes later, I got another notification that I was being attacked. So I flipped over to watch and I was being attacked. The odd thing is there were no cc troops and no bombs. Afterward the attack log showed 2 attacks ... by the same person!!

In the big picture, he raided me for pennies, i netted +25 trophies, and got the shield. Still the odds of the same guy attacking me within 45 minutes have to be enormous. That coupled with the other inconsistencies seems very odd.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Pretty sure this happens when someone goes past the 30 seconds but doesn't drop any troops and ultimately ends battle....had it happen a few times.

Maybe I wasn't clear, there were two distinctly different attacks in the attack log after the second attack, 40 minutes apart. In the first, he drew out my cc troops and tripped bombs (he got 31%). In the second attack there were no cc troops and some bombs didn't trip (he eked out a 50% one star). He clearly attacked me twice.

Unless he immediately gemmed up new troops, he wouldn't have had time to next enough to have any chance of finding me again.

No matter, it's done. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced the same.

but this is to strange.

I have noticed the game has been super lagged in the last little bit. People in our war have disconnected. Also I requested for troops and the request never showed up in chat, but timer is counting down to next request.

You cant attack the same person twice based on the code so if this is true it is definitely fishy

You can, its just highly unlikely.
It's been done in the higher leagues when there isn't many other bases about to find as far as I know

Folks I just kicked a guy from my clan and it never showed he was kicked! Be careful guys supercell servers are acting up!

They are testing the new TH11 in Helsinki and the servers are rejecting it as malicious. Haha.

I think you are just making up your, 'facts'.

OP: At your trophy level it is not improbable to be attacked twice by the same person. It used to be very similar below 200 cups.

What the hell lol. I assume since you're getting attacked By 44 families it's because of your trophy count & not many bases being available up that high.

You should stealth bump. Pretend to add something relevant but have the purpose of anti spam bumping.

Very high chance attacker gem his troops or boosted barracks.

It's very possible to search the same enemy in Champ I/II range. I've pretty much seen some distinct bases repeatedly that I nexted.

In your case, you did not get a shield after first attack. Also no other people attack you, until he finds you again.

He didn't call me a liar and even if he had it wouldn't have offended me.

I am an adult and wouldn't have wasted my time or anyone here's time with a false post. I just wanted to know if it had happened to anyone else ... nothing more.

Can this happen in lower leagues, too? (Silver-Crystal). I swear sometimes I have hit next past the same base twice, sometimes three times in one search, when searches are taking a long time.. Clanmates thought I was just seeing things, or a common name or layout.

You get notifications for your other accounts on android. I have 4 different accounts and I get notifications from all of them.

Yeah it's not unusual, basically the person let there timer run out. Even after the timer runs out, that just means you can't next again. But the indicator will still indicate as if that person was attacking.

Wow! I don't mean this disrespectfully but some of you have reading comprehension deficiencies ... there were 2 full on attacks! One for 31% and one for 50%. This is not an instance of some guy letting his timer run out. I posted a screen shot of the defense log.

It wasn't until after the second attack that the first attack showed in the defense log. Some kind of refresh lag on my base after the first attack ... yeah, I can see that.

I would never have guessed that it was possible to encounter the same base twice, especially in such a short time span... but if you guys say it is possible, that surprises me, but ok.

I once sniped the same guys exposed DE storage twice within a few minutes when I was dropping cups down from champ (it was probably around 3500 cups or so. iirc). Got 2x2500 DE too. I bet he too was surprised to see my attacks in his log..

I'd say this is a bit unusual but not impossible. It's not happened to me. I have been offered the same base to attack more than once when nexting, but I hit next so I don't know if I would have been 're-offered' the base had I attacked and not given him a shield. Would be a difficult experiment to replicate!

Seeing the same base twice is highly unlikely but it has been occurring much more recently. Whether this is due to trophy inflation or the lack of players now playing the game, it is just a coincidence and nothing to worry about.

This would've been funny is if he failed twice...rip like 60 trophies for him.

This happened to me today. I did a raid on my main. Logged out and into my alt. Which was shielded. Quit game, got the you are being raided notification. Which of course, is not possible.

Logged into main, had not been raided.

Just on of many bugs in the code.

If he is attacking with boosted barracks and leaves barracks queued while he raids, perfectly possible.

With either very high or very low trophy counts, there will be few enough bases around that it won't be all that rare to find the same person twice if he hasn't been shielded by the first attack.

Not impossible, but much less common, just because there are so many more people playing in those leagues.

Actually, if within one search, I think it is impossible. I don't think it will ever offer the same base a second time until you leave the search.

And there are certain base layouts which are very common (usually copied from the internet), which can easily make you think you have seen the same base more than once.

I've attacked the same base twice in masters when master league first came out. The base had an exposed TH and a max DE storage with maxed drills right by it. Took the 6k+ DE and the TH for the bonus. About 30 minutes later, found the same exact base. Took everything again, then checked my war log to make sure I hadn't eaten some shrooms on accident, and sure enough, the persons base was there twice. I swear next'ing through champs, I see the same freaking 20 bases that I next'd passed for 10 minutes. I don't think its as random as they say.
