Why I will never truly love TH9's

When you are a TH9 you will attack plenty of TH8's.

And when you get lvl 6 giants and lvl10+ AQ and maybe some lvl6 barch and you really want big DE for hero upgrades you'll find yourself precision targeting DE storages from TH9's

Th9s can attack each other very easily, the problem is that it starts not being as profitable for them to do so. At least its much more profitable for them to attack a th8. To get the de off a th9 a hero or a spell or a combination of heroes and spells is pretty much a must, or an army like ballonion taking 45+ minutes to train. Getting the de off a th8 requires less spells / heroes than getting it off a th9 but does yield 700k less.

For de I mostly take th9s using the super queen strategy (8 healers, my AQ, and minions for funneling) for 2.5k, although when my AQ is upgrading I giwizbarch th8s and some th9s either rushed or with exposed de storage for their de.

Farming g and e off mid-max th9s really isn't profitable at all in comparison to th8s. It's much much harder (and therefore more expensive) to get all of the g and e off a th9 than it is to get the de off a th9. Therefore I (along with most other th9s) decide to get their g and e off juicy th8s (and collector raids as well). Sucks I know for the th8s, but great for us.

At th9 its much easier to defend as well, I could easily get raped by a th10 but th10s are rare in silver (rarer than th snipers) so I pretty much get sniped and occasionally attacked by th9s. Is it unfair? possibly but th9s do have much more de to farm than th8s, as well as th9s have been th8s themselves.


Advice to th8s: Keep farming your de and max your BK and de troops at th8 (for the sake of war), and once you're a th9 you are on the other end of the hurdle so feel free to bully the th8s.

If you are offering me good loot, I will level you the best I can. I don't understand the mentality of a higher TH being a bully. It's part of the game and every Th raids the one below it, because they can get resources easier. I'm a TH10 and I will hit a TH7 if one comes up in Champion league, just for the win bonus alone. All the TH9s/10s who hit TH8s, were TH8s once and got hit by higher THs also. Pay the dues.

This is what drives the game. Getting beat up and wanting to be bigger and stronger. If you didn't have to worry about a bigger guy coming after you, the incentive to upgrade wouldn't be so high.

When I say all out I mean it

When a TH9 barches me I can handle it, but when a TH9 either gowipes me or goes full out level 6 Giants and Wiz as well as their lvl 10 heroes. Now, you may argue that Townhall 8's do the same to Townhall 7's as well as 7's to 6's, but TH9 gets a little extra from it.

Townhall 9's get decent dark elixir

When a Townhall 8 attcks a townhall 7 for dark elixir, he might get 1k max. When a townhall 9 attacks a townhall 8, he's averaging around 2,000. A townhall 9 gets easy access to loot while townhall 8's are stuck attacking each other for dark elixir, which reuires a little bit extra effort than a townhall 9. While I'm saying this, I'm trying my best not to be a hypocrite when aI become a townhall 9. Chances are, I will, but at the same time I feel I might spare some people(unless they're worth 3k somehow).

Does this happen to TH9's getting attacked by TH10's?
Seriously I have no idea, but I can only assume it does, at least townhall 9's have some xbows for defense. All in all though, I will always enjoy this game that's for sure, even when I'm so bored that I go on about why I can't stand th9's. Hope you all like my little thread :)

TH9s get loot 2 times easier than th8s I am k with that. But th9s need 15 times more loot...

Yes.

Most max TH8's can be cored for the DE storage (and at least 2/3 of the other types of storages) using nothing but lvl6 gibarch, one heal spell, and an AQ...with the AQ uninjured or only injured a little but still ready to go by the next raid. And now that heal spells cook in 20 mins this can be repeated endlessly.

For DE from strong TH9's, though, I do best with both heroes...which means the BK gets hurt...and two or even more spells one of them being a jump.

The only time I ever get wrecked, as a maxed def TH9, is by TH10s.....

....it happens, sometimes we are the nail other times we are the hammer.

Dear fellow 8s complaining about the economy: we swim in elixir. Make a dragon or loonion army and take 2k DE from 8s all day long.

And silver/gold leagues is saturated with TH9s and 10s. Low crystal is probably the safest spot for TH7s and 8s now.
