Why I will never truly love TH9's

Being a TH8, I've learned that no matter what Townhall someone is, if they're worth a lot of loot and you can get it, you'll attack. That's the main basis of the game in my opinion. Understanding that, I will still always have a little hate for TH9's who go all out on TH8's .

When I say all out I mean it

When a TH9 barches me I can handle it, but when a TH9 either gowipes me or goes full out level 6 Giants and Wiz as well as their lvl 10 heroes. Now, you may argue that Townhall 8's do the same to Townhall 7's as well as 7's to 6's, but TH9 gets a little extra from it.

Townhall 9's get decent dark elixir

When a Townhall 8 attcks a townhall 7 for dark elixir, he might get 1k max. When a townhall 9 attacks a townhall 8, he's averaging around 2,000. A townhall 9 gets easy access to loot while townhall 8's are stuck attacking each other for dark elixir, which reuires a little bit extra effort than a townhall 9. While I'm saying this, I'm trying my best not to be a hypocrite when aI become a townhall 9. Chances are, I will, but at the same time I feel I might spare some people(unless they're worth 3k somehow).

Does this happen to TH9's getting attacked by TH10's?
Seriously I have no idea, but I can only assume it does, at least townhall 9's have some xbows for defense. All in all though, I will always enjoy this game that's for sure, even when I'm so bored that I go on about why I can't stand th9's. Hope you all like my little thread :)

So, as a TH9... I think you just don't really understand things from our perspective. So, yes, we can raid you with giants/wiz or a heavier attack and easily wipe you out to take all the loot. But, be honest here, is losing like 500k total loot and 1-2k DE that big of a loss? That can be farmed back in two barch raids, and I somewhat doubt you're getting absolutely hammered every time you go offline. As a th9 (though, to be fair, a near max one) I would rarely get attacked hard when in farming range (gold to lower crystal). Up here in Titan is a different story, as I get wrecked by fully maxed th10's on a daily basis, but yeah since I'm pushing we'll ignore that.

Basically, yes, it's part of the game to get attacked by higher level stronger players, you get hammered when they do, but you can go down the food chain and pick up easy loot from lower guys as well, or you can arm up with giant healer of gowipe and hit back, any solid th8 can easily two star most th9's with gowipe.

Now th9s smash me for my bulging full elixir storages. But that's alright since I don't really need it anyway. Don't really care that much. But overall nice thread. Seems like th9s bully th8s often.

As a th9 I do bully th8's, yes, with no regrets. As a th8 (I've got one, yeah) I regularly get smashed by th9's, but then I turn around and drag anyone th7-9 for quite a solid pile of loot and I'm happy. I think it all evens out. Th10's hit th9's, th9's hit th8's, th8's hit th7's, and everything in between. fair's fair.

Once you get to TH9 and get smashed by TH10s, you'll hate TH10s.

Here's a little secret: at TH9, you rely on dark elixir. It's all you think about because now you have TWO heroes that gain 50 new levels (20 for king, 30 for queen) and all of your troop and spell upgrades. The elixir upgrades is nothing compared to what you spend on dark elixir at TH9. It's crazy.

So yes, I absolutely love smashing TH8s who have full de storages. I need dark elixir - except I don't use gowipe to destroy TH8s. I use gibarch and steal your dark elixir.

xbows aren't that scary. they barely touch TH10 level troops, so yes, TH10s do attack TH9s and steal all of their dark elixir - which is like 2.5k. SO much more than the measly 1.8k you lose, but you don't see TH9s complaining about TH10s stealing all of their loot.

I can only speak based on my experience and when I was an 8 getting DE I actually needed really wasn't an issue. As a TH9 the need for DE is much greater. Same thing with elixir. As an 8 I was swimming in far more than I needed, as a 9 there is a lot more to spend it on. Yes as a 9 I do hit 8's and in turn get hit by 10's, it's the way the game works. When I hit 10 I fully expect to continue being hit by more advanced 10's and better players. Best way to avoid being hit is not to have any loot. That gets harder the higher up the chain you go.

I have a near max defense TH10, just working last of lab, royals and walls. I absolutely brutalize TH9s with loonion... early, mid, max... does not matter. Once I run out of elixir upgrades in lab and I can't farm all the DE I need for the last few hero levels in 7 days, it is going to get even worse for them as I will be raiding with even bigger armies and bringing heroes.

That said, I also started a mini for war that is a fresh TH9 with early TH8 defenses and I am just working offense and economy. I get absolutely hammered every time I log off... 1.4M resources and 2.5K DE lost in my last two "defenses." It is just the way of the world.

TH9 requires ~4750k DE to max everything

and you are complaining about only getting half as much each raid?

It's basically a food chain. TH10s prey on TH9s, TH9s prey on TH8s, TH8s prey on TH7s, and so on.

As a TH8 myself, I usually get pummeled a ton by TH9s when I have full storages. Though, when I have the right base, I barely get as attacked as much by TH9s. Thankfully, I will be at TH9 in 5 days, so soon I will get to bully TH8s myself :cool:
