Th 10s should have pentalty for attacking low ranks

I have currently 4 people at th8 in my clan who I know all of personally who want to quit. I have had same happen to myself. Still do but I'm a 9 up in masters now. My clan mates are all in gold. I have always found it unfair that a th10 can attack someone lower! It hurts having 10s taking hundreds of thousands in loot and not being able to revenge them back! There is nothing that can be done against the infernos when your a th8! There is nothing that can be done back to them! I think if they don't want to be in masters or higher and prey on the weak instead in lower leagues like cowards there should be a visible penalty! It can work similar to a bonus only it's a deduction in loot that increases the farther they get away from masters. I know a couple who have quit the game because of all the 10s and now I may lose more people! It breaks a lot of people's spirits and make them quit because of this unfairness. Please supercell solve the problem of cowardly th10s preying on the small fishes. You're losing players because of this issue. Make them have a loot penalty for being so low in trophies.

There is already a loot penalty for picking on lower levels, and your clanmates should be able to find back some loot easily. For you it is harder, but you can find occasional good loot if you know where to be in cups.

Supercell already takes out a percentage of the loot as you get further away from your desired opponent's town hall level.

I know there are penalties but maybe make it visible to them? If they see a red negative loot notice Pop up and take away from the total gain i think it would make people think twice about staying so low like that. Guess some just want to troll so they won't care at all though.

When you are TH10 and you see all those TH8s with full collectors or even full storages that used to represent a 300K+ raid for you go down to 70-150K raid you will understand there is no need to have any further visual confirmations about the loot penalties.

Furthermore when I was TH8 I was glad I when I was hit by a TH10 rather than a TH9, it mean I lost roughly 50% less loot due to the penalty, this was a godsend when I was saving up DE, being hit for 1K as opposed to 1.8K does feel better.

I do find your comment about trolling when looting somewhat curious though. This is a PVP where the objective is to raid others for loot/trophies. Another point to add if your clan mates @ TH8 are getting raided by TH10s for hundreds of thousands of resources, then generally this means your clan mates have maxed capped storages as well as relatively full collectors/mines.

I would advise them clear those collectors/mines before getting off shield and perhaps time their builders a bit better so they don't have so much loot in storages.

They already have penalties, and these penalties don't only apply after they stole the loot, they apply when they found the target. So a th10 won't see 300k and attack, to end and only gain 150k because of the loot penalty.. no.. they will see from the start 150k which will make them not want to attack your base. If your base is too accessible for low-rank armies like barch, you will obviously be attacked by these hungry th10s.

Agree, the loot penalty is not big enough.

Not big enough? It's 50% for 2 THs below (S0 10 attacking 8 or 9 attacking 7). For 3 THs it's 75% and 4 or more it's 90%.

As others have said, you should be grateful when someone 2 THs above you attacks you, because the odds are a player one TH above you, or on your level would have gotten more loot.

i think the loot penalties are fine as it is.
i have been th8 for around 2 and a half months; and no th10 has ever attacked me.

It's your fault for being in a league full of Th10's and 9's...
