so after all that, what I'm really wondering is should I upgrade to th9.5? The only reason I would do this is so I could get dark faster to get my Heros to lv20 before coming a full out th10. Do you think I would benefit from upgrading to th9.5 (because I'll be able to bring more troops, another de drill, etc.) All input is welcome! Thanks guys/girls :)
Why would it be easier to get dark as a th10? You no longer would have those easy th8s to smash for 2k.Quote:

Get your heroes to 25/25 and half lavas at least.. Then go to 9.5

I was just contemplating this very question. I am not as far as you, but close. I had been doing really well farming in champ for de, but I dropped just to explore. I will likely go back. I haven't been raiding as much as I used to so farming in champ, with my th outside, was working well. If i were more active I may consider m3.

You really should have heroes 20+. You can probably still 2 star a TH9 without a hero, but at TH10, you really need both, unless you are really good or the base is pretty bad. High level heroes at TH9 are a plus, they are almost a necessity at TH10, especially once you get your war weight up.
