Hit by someone 950 below me

So, I'm in Titan. Plenty of you probably saw my push thread, but whatever. So, had to go on def this morning, was sitting at 4146. I see the attack notification, get on, see the badge of the attacker is champ 3. Which, right off the bat, means I'm about to get seriously wrecked on trophies. Seriously. Then, attack ends. -39. Exactly what I expected since the trophy system sucks banana. That's chill right.
But, the guy that hit me wasn't at like 3480, top of champ 3. No. He was at 3239. I just got hit by someone 907 trophies below me. I've heard of a 500-600 difference, and while I know even from a 500-600 difference I'd be a 59/-1 offer, what the hell is going on if I'm found by someone MORE THAN 900 TROPHIES BELOW ME?
Seriously, that's not ok. I completely fail to be amused by this. I'm not complaining about the trophy loss, that's annoying and it'll take two days to get back but whatever, life is life. It's the fact that he attacked up 900 trophies. That's like me, here in low T3, finding someone in Legend league. Which is completely unreasonable.
Alright, rant over, but seriously what huge banana is this?

Went on defense for the second time today, after a 4-5 hour snipe session that profited about 20 trophies. I was sitting at 4027. I get hit by a guy at 4135, three starred (near full maxed th10, heroes at 35/38), for another -29. So... In the last 12 hours now I've lost 68 trophies on defense. Banana my life.

there is no revenge over like 2600 cups. Just doesn't happen. Everyone (well, every th9 or below, which I am) gets hit within seconds of going offline, revenge doesn't open up for longer than that. It was just a regular attack.

This happens to me a lot, currently in Titan 3 pushing to Titan 2. And, it's hard to defend maxed-out TH 10s against my TH 9.

the matchmaking update made that pretty common for th9 and below in champs and titans.

It's bullbananas they need to fix it I lost 15 cups to a snipe and the guy or girl was 600 cups below me

If this continues then trophies will start moving down and the higher leagues might become unreachable.

It will actually pull more people up and group more people together meaning fewer clouds

No it is actually pulling trophies down.

39 trophies were moved from 4100 range down to 3200 range. That effect would net to be countered several attacks from 4100 range to a lower range. But those attacks would only award 1 trophy. :straightface:

I think the net effect is of trophies moving downwards, which is bad news for people climbing on Titan league, as clouds will only get worst not better.

And then as players get tired of clouds in Titan league the effect will self-reinforce, as they give up on climbing further (or simply become blocked from doing so).
