Just reached TH8...What do I do?!?!

I just reached for about a few days now. Got all the new buildings within the first day. I am currently in Gold III working my way up with giants, barbs, archs, wbs, hogs, wizs and heal spells for hogs. I plan to use gold to upgrade my defenses first before using surplus gold to upgrade walls and elixer to get offensive upgrades. What do you guys think?

Army-wise:
- Stop using wizs and hogs
- GiBarch all day
- Heal spells are ok. I prefer zaps. but that's me

Upgrades-wise:
- Get ASAP second DE drill to 3
- upgrade Lab and CC
- Especially if you are a war person, upgrade air defences and everything that hits air (if that means neglecting mortars and cannons, neglect them. My new mortar is still level 2 and I'm almost a month into TH8. But I have a level 6 tesla, 2 lv6 ADs and one lv5, etc...)
- Get all walls to 6/7
- Get King upgrading 24/7

Troops-wise:
- Try to unlock valks and golems sooner or later, you'll need golem in the future
- Perhaps also one regular barrack to Pekkas
- I upgraded war troops before farm troops except barbs, but up to you. I do fine with lv4 archers

Do walls as soon as possible while upgrading your war/farming army and go straight to town hall 9 once you have 80% level 8 walls.

What i did (right or wrong has worked for me)

Get you new defense up to same level as existing defense, start splash upgrades as soon as you can, get your new walls bought, can leave them lined up and upgrade as you go or expand current base layout.

Lab, get that lab upgraded and start troop upgrade! Archer, giants, barbs of course, your choice of order.

DE Drill, get the second going, upgrade as you can!

I honestly use only barbarians and archers lol
Not a fixed number, fill 2 barrax with barbs and the other 2 with archers.

With GiBarch fill one barrack with giants, one with barbs and 2 with archers

I'll give an adivice since I'm 1 day away from th8: Build you new structures, upgrade your lab, barch your eyes out untill 80% of skulls left then upgrade to th9.

Sure, bro.
But I dont think that maxing out th8 is really necessary, I maxed out completely th7 and waiting to get to th8 are the most boring days of my coc adventure. So I'll just get past th8 and not waste a single drop of elixir on in.

Rushing to TH9 is a really bad move

You can do 80% skulls in 3 weeks

80%x225 = 180
180/21 = 8,5, let's pick 9
9*500000 = 4500000

Yes definitely u can do 80% skulls in 3 weeks

In these 3 weeks you'll barely have your farm troops upgraded, let alone war troops and bk

Well, thats just your opinion, mate. I know how to play my game the way I want, & the day I start to get more elixir than gold is the day I press that Upgrade buttom.
Keep in mind that elixir upgrades are around 30 mi, while gold is 100+ mi, seems like a huge waste of elixir on my opinion since I can farm a lot everyday. Once I reach th9 I can spend those elixir on walls or other upgrades and work on the game at my own pace, since th9 is the one that takes the longest, but hey, thats just how I wanna play, maxers and rushers will get to the same final point at the same time, they just have to play the way they want to.
I dont care about losing 400k each resource on a raid because my defense sucks, cos I can farm easily 10mi per day. :)

I agree about gold and elixir, but with some planning you won't end up wasting much elixir like sitting one month with all walls to upgrade. Focus farming on gold, ya know.
