Ok so I am a TH7 with everything maxed expect for my dark pump (which is a 2 so I only need one more) and walls (which are about 20% - 25% done) So my question is, do I go to a TH8 or stay at a TH7 and completely max everything? Thanks for all your input. Cheers!

Max everything, i rushed th7, and i was at th8 for ages, i got sick of it and quit for 6 months!
Im back now and th9 is brilliant (from a maxed th8) but my biggest regret it not maxing th7
I have a mini now and just went from max th6-th7, and cant wait to max it!
Dont hit the button too early because you can go back and the loot jump from th7-th8 is a big one!

It really depends on the level of your wall. If it's at level 6, I'll say you're pretty good to go. Also, I'd suggest you max out all your resource collectors, since they will give you a great head start on your journey in TH 8.
At TH7 you want to max your walls definitely. Going into TH8 with pink walls means you'll go to TH9 with purple walls and you'll never succeed after that.
Rush to th9. No regrets

TH7 is the last fun level before the serious grind begins. Enjoy being TH7 for as long as you can. Definitely max your walls before you go up.
What level walls you got? If it's all purple, go ahead.
as others stated max walls in th7 is nothing for war but high lvl walls and heroes just show your skill and activity.
personally my biggest regret is i spent around 10 days in th7 with full gold, elixir and de storage just to finish some defenses upgrades.
I waste those 10 days + at least 50M resources.

There's nothing wrong with rushing to TH 8 cos you get a few advantages. You should keep your defenses at TH 7 level (and don't get any new ones) and only do offensive stuff like Laboratory, Spell Factory and Dark Spell Factory, troops, army camp, barracks, and so on, so your weight in CW will stay at the same level for a while until you recover the "handicap" of rushing.

Going to th9 with purple walls isn't that bad, even going to th10 with purple walls isn't even bad. As long as your defenses are up to date and troops are you wont have a problem. With a jump spell/wallbreakers/earthquake spell walls don't mean anything LmaooQuote:

Although I don't think all my walls were pink when I went from TH7 to TH8 with my main account, I still didn't go to TH9 with more than about 1/3 of my walls purple :)
And that was before the EQ spell made walls a bit less worthwhile.
After about 4 months in TH9, I now have 189 purple, 61 pink. Another month or so, I'll probably be starting skulls :)
