TH2-4 can smash each other with barch.
TH5/6 can smash each other with level 3 barch.
TH7 can smash TH8 with dragons.
TH8 can core max TH9 with gowipe.
TH9 get bullied by TH10 and have no way to core even premie bases thanks to infernos.
NERF INFERNOS, THEYRE BROKEN!!
Th9s can 2-3 star premmie/rushed TH10s with infernos and 2 star decent TH10s. Plenty of videos on youtube on this.

no you're wrong. infernos destroy every composition in the game in a matter of seconds. Freeze spells are the only check to them. infernos are the reason you can't 3 star a TH10.

If you funnel some giants into those infernos you will be fine (for farming weaker bases)
Dont just see infernos and think oh ♥♥♥♥... think how you can get through or around them for farming
As a TH9, when I was hitting TH10's in wars :
4 Earthquake spells
2 rage spells
3 or 4 golems
8-12 Valks
5-7 Witches
Wizards and Wall breakers
Heroes
Capable of 2 starring a lot of TH10.
Even easier in multiplayer with the bases set different, just have to willing to build the troops (assuming you have them at high levels)
As the poster said above, mass giants under rage can take care of most infernos. Single target can be done with a handful of barbs/archers
TH9s can definitely 2 star TH10s with a simple brimstone GoWi. And you can 3 star TH10s with TH8 defenses with Hounds as shown by OneHive:

TH10s wreck each other otherwise this game would be pointless.
I was 2 starring max defense (usually not max walls, although they wouldn't have effected it) th10s when I was playing around in champs, I'm th9 with low 20 heros
Move up to TH10 :smirk:
It is never intended for a lower TH to be able to three-star the TH level above them. That's never how it's been. It's like a food chain. TH9s eat TH8s. Th8s eat TH7s TH10s eat TH9s.
You can't suddenly reverse that and have a mouse eat a cat, can you?

3 th10s with max infernos, max th9 def and high teen heroes got 2 starred by th9s in our current war.
For farming...to an extent you have a point, but: I am a max th10 with approaching max heroes, and I don't try and core approaching good th10s with a farm army.
It's just not worth the risk to reward. Go smash a premmie one or a strong th9 for up to 70/70/300 less. Far more efficient.
Infernos do mostly kill th10 3 starring, but you know what? I've put nearly 3 years into maxing my base. I don't really want to see it 3 starred. It better be real special.
If the price for that, is that 3 starring is way out of reach of average war Joe's like me, such is life.
I stayed for about 4 month without using freeze. Infernos set on multiple target are shutdown by 5 golems if pathed correctly. Never had problems getting 2 stars without freeze. Even now with max freeze I mostly use 7 golems and no freeze.Quote:

Farming? Farm from th9s not th10 or BArch at select bases. I never farmed at high leagues at th9 always in crystal. Good luck :)
First of all. Don't expect to destroy a higher th level so easily. Secondly during my push I destroyed many premie th10s some upto 3 star. Level 1 infernos should be called water guns. I also 2 starred some really decently upgraded th10s and yea I failed couple. Th10 attacking is more complicated and more dependent on heroes more than any other level and takes a lot of effort to get good at it I give you that. Just don't drama overload forums with bull♥♥♥♥ and focus on your skills.

How useful is a lvl1-3 drag compare to a lvl4 drag at TH9? Or any other troops which you used. Not implying that you can use lvl4 drag to 2** TH10 (non maxed). Go max out all your troops & spells and play around with them.Quote:

Was using gowipe, 2 golem, 4 pekka, 8 wiz, 8 wb and 12 arch. Spells were 1 poison, 4 earthquake and 2 rage. If I took a cc I would just take whatever was available, which was usually a drag and 2 loons from my mini. I was hitting any base offering 30+ trophies when I pushed, often there were cc troops probably about half the time. I would avoid the base if there was an awake queen lvl25+. I was just aiming to carve a hole to the th and then hit 50% for the second star.Quote:

Sorry OP, have to disagree. I have a max 9 running giwiva in champs 3 right now and not having any issues got 8 infernos last night and 2 so far today. Just takes practice...in fact last war I got matched with 2 th10s...one a max defense with level 2 multis that I took for 2 stars with a 4 golem goho and a slightly premmie with level 1 infernos that I took for 3 with a golava....and that was my fist time ever doing a golava.
As a TH9..... I'd like to see a TH8 smash me, heck, I'd like to see a TH9 smash me. Could a skilled TH9 smash me if they tried hard enough, they could... but most won't even try in Crystal league where I'm farming.
I only get wrecked by max troop TH10s, both in war and in regular match making.
Sure, maybe a fresh TH9 could get wrecked by a TH8, but a fresh TH9 is technically still a TH8 until they can upgrade their defenses beyond TH8 level.

Granted, I don't often choose to attack TH10 bases, but I have had 1 star, and occasionally even 2 from them.
A TH8 can not possibly two star another maxed, well designed TH9 using just a gowipe with maxed TH8 troops. It can't be done, no matter how hard you try. So for those who are saying it's possible are lying and have never done it personally(if you have, please provide legit proof)
