Bought a chest of gems... thoughts on whats next?

Kings upgrading to l19 and I have enough after to go to 20. Queens level 20 already.

I can boost my dark for 155 days and perhaps take a few of those days for a handful of boost sessions. Is that my best bet? I really want to just get my xbows out of the weigh and start 3 of them for like 7000 gems or whatever it would be. But I want to get the best value as well.

I'm hoping to have my defense maxed or close by the start of the new year and I'm going to push to Titan Christmas week. I know I could hit Titan now if I REALLY REALLY put the time into it but I feel as if I'll be there around Christmas.

You get 3x more resources by boosting mines/collectors/drills then by upgrading with gems

Don't gem resources, no value there. Boost Mines/Collectors/Drill IF NEEDED. Otherwise boost everything and Bam, or Gibarch.

Gem your walls they're looking pretty puny.

What I would do next is buy peanut butter and jelly to make some sandwiches.

Problem solved.

Barracks & spell boost and farm those walls.

The DE collected along the way can be pumped into your hero upgrades. Gem the hero upgrade time as necessary...particularly if you're soon sitting on enough DE to upgrade once again

Gem boost your barracks, spell factory and heroes' recovery then push those trophies until your fingers are numb. You'll reach Titan league in no time.

Maybe I need some more coffee, but I'm a bit fuzzy on why someone would buy a chest of gems not knowing what they intended to do with it.

"Boost barracks and drills and attack a lot" is a perfectly good answer though.

Kinda envy your gems, but you paid for it so use it well.

Boost barracks/heroes if available. I spent no more than 2k gems in maxing my defense,walls,and AQ at th9.

Boost them all. It's really worthit.

I've boosted my dark drills for the past 3 months and I leveled my heroes from 12/15 to 20/20 without raiding too much, you get ~15k dark elixir. I think that's pretty good. My dark troops and dark spells are all maxed with 20/20 heroes and a heroic heist of 850k and I never bought dark elixir, it mostly came from boosted drills.

So my answer is: boost dark drills/heroes:spell factories and barracks

So I still got roughly 13,900 gems. Just been boosting my dark production as I have anyways for the past 2 months and have been gemming my barracks and queen while the king upgrades. So far I've gemmed one l2 inferno in case anyone looks at the photo. Still hearing people out. I REALLY want to just upgrade all 3 xbows as it'll take me roughly 317.8 million gold to max my base (defense) right now. I can take it down to like 290 if I do that.

Hi mate dont worry about xbows...yet
Get max infernos, splash, Teslas, ADs, xbows then canons

However If you want to use the gems other than boosting is to use on heroes
If you can be patient, then boost and go farm DE like crazy and then upgrade heroes and gem the upgrade time - then you can use in war and more DE farming, at the same time your defences will being maxed as well.

In this game max heroes are the game breaker, go for them

Thanks for the helpful post. I realize that even though I've played days on end since December 2013, I won't achieve higher than level 30 heroes by the end of next october or so without boosting my dark everyday from now until then... on top of farming what I normally do. If I spent ALL the gems I just got on dark... I could probably gem my king to 22 and queen to 22. (not sure if that would include gemming upgrade TIME, probably just levels themselves) which wouldn't be TOO bad but I'll probably just save for maybe upgrade time and boosting drills. It's hard to just part with 6000 gems AKA 50 bucks when I know I can do that in 3 weeks. To put it like that makes me go NO way you're right lol.

I'd say invest them on hero. Boost your racks and farm DE. Upgrade your hero and wake them up. So as th10 you will constantly have both hero on war.
