For level 5 archers, 83 arrows and then and EQ spell will leave level 7 wall standing, while 84 arrows and then EQ will destroy the wall (destruction threshold between 33.6% and 32.8%).
Yes, that confuses me greatly too. If you have a poison spell the attack doesn't end. If you have an earthquake spell it does. They appear to have gotten it backwards. I was once lucky enough to get off a single earthquake spell that crumbled the town hall just a second before my last wizard died. Had I not been quick to recognize the situation I would have lost the battle due to the way they programmed earthquake (which works the same way as the jump spell).
