We're talking about war attacks. Not the weighting of your base. That was obvious to everyone except the guy who wants to write a novel every time.

well said again!
I always farmed de. in th7 and th8 i could upgrade bk non stop when i enter to the new th.
In Th9 i upgrade both non stop to lvl15 and almost non stop to lvl20. then upgrade bk to 30 and now im upgrading aq to 30.
Now i have 30/23 heroes but still a mid th9

to advance1:
Its all about weighting in wars. nobody expect you to attack a base 10 numbers higher than you! but you should be able to attack (for 3*) a base +2 above to -2 below you.

But if you focus on defense your weight would be high and low level heroes/troops would be a big problem.
