Has the Barbarian King become our new Hero?

Ok guys, we all know the AQ is pretty nuts when it comes to funnelling and all. Its more like a 50-50 chance each raid that she'll actually go into the core. But has anyone noticed that the BK has become pretty obediant lately? I mean, i have 10-12 raids today and the BK has been extremely useful in almost all of them!

In the pic below, surprisingly both heroes worked brilliantly. AQ took out TH, BK took out the whole ring of storages!

While the AQ helped off-and-on, the BK has reaaaally become useful for my farming. Well, at least until i put him to sleep again, :smirk:


So is this just me, or something new with the AI? How's your burger king working for you? :D

Its all Rushed and weak base.... AQ is still the best hero for me .she aint slow and hitting every walls like the king

Id still rather have my archer queen. But king has actually been very useful as of late. Just had a six star war With just my king. Last war he went in and took 2 ad by himself when i kinda expected him to walk the base.

Your BK would get slaughtered if you put him against a max TH9 defence. :smirk: That's why the AQ is better as she can shoot from a further range and over walls, taking the DE storage and the Town Hall. You just need to funnel.

It all depends on good deployment and good funneling.
Just a hero by itself will not get you 3 stars every time, you may once be lucky but as mentioned before in answers against decent bases they'll get slaughtered before you know it

Just got my barb king to lvl30. Thought that he wouldn't be a tool after sleeping constantly for 15 weeks. Boy, was I wrong ...

Of course, against maxed bases it wouldn't last that long. But im talking about funnelling. AQ has issues with funnelling, but definitely BK has better AI as far as thats concerned!

Most people are fans of AQ. But I love BK more than AQ. Most of the time my BK is the one who took down TH while the AQ busy shooting storage.

As a melee fighter, BK movement is easier to predict and therefor easier to funnel. While the AQ as a range fighter need to have a wider area cleared out to be funneled.

Don't get me wrong I love them as a deadly duo but If I had to choose, my vote goes to BK.

People said they love the AQ but she also the one who got the most complains. But I rarely see people complain about BK.

The AQ is also quite prone to randomly walk past the closest building and shoot the one beyond it, while I almost never see the BK do that. BK is definitely more prefictable and easier to handle, but I still prefer the AQ while farming. The ranged attack ability is just too valuable.

I agree with all the other posts about that weak base with lvl 5 paper walls having more to do with the success rather than any AI change (real or imagined)
