Hi there, My king is currently lvl10 and so is my Queen.
Should I take King to 15, then Queen to 15. Then King to 20, then Queen to 20? etc
Or should I take King to 11, then Queen to 11. Then king to 12, then Queen to 12? etc
My gut is telling me to take one up 5 lvls, then the other one 5 lvls. I find that their ability that lvls up is more important than a small stat increase by keeping them the same lvl.
Your thoughts?
I would focus on a hero to get the next ability lvl.
I would try to keep them both upgrading at the same time. Split their start time about 3-4 days apart and that should give you enough time farm.
Having one at 15 and the other at 10 is better than having one at 13 and the other at 12 imo. At the end of the day it's down to how you want to play the game and what you think would be most useful.

As a pure farmer (we don't do serious wars) this is what I did:
-Up to level 17-18 I had both down simultaneously upgrading
-Then put king to level 25
-Upped queen to 20
-Then king non stop to level 30
-Now finishing off queen
In hindsight (♥♥♥♥♥♥) I would keep king at around 20 and just focus on queen, for farming, she is so over powered I wish I could be making more use of her, but having to settle with king instead.
This is all negated if you are going to war on a regular basis, unless you have an understanding clan who will let you attack lower on the map. Heroes are vital for war.
Trust your gut bro. You'd be surprise to see your hero new ability level everytime they reach +5 and would never regret your decision.
I tend to upgrade my heroes from one ability level to the other, so every 5 levels.
And i do BK first, why?
--> farming without AQ is much harder and with a stronger BK (for example BK 15 and AQ 10) and it is time to start 5 levels of AQ your BK is stronger and will help you a little bit more then a lvl10 BK when you decide to do AQ first.
Word of advice: Bk first then Queen.
Reason: While Bk is down upgrading in steps of 5 level, you will have Queen available, Now when its your queen's turn then you'll have a higher level BK because raiding without your queen is a pain. So there's a little compensation when your queen is down. And notice how tanky your king has become post 5 level upgrade
This is the smartest approach. Every 5 gives you an ability bump, right? And every other level upgrade is a very small increment to their health and damage, right? So what good is having AQ 13, BK 12. Silly.Quote:

I'd focus on queen first till you reach max, then ur king. Your queen is the main damage source, your king is just the tank; he's expendable. You would do better in raids with your queen but without ur king rather than vice versa.
What about doing both at the same time (as long as your DE storage can handle it)?
I thought this would be a good approach so that if you want to war at full, you only have to sit out 1/2 the time.
I am more of a farmer than a war guy, and having both heroes KO on TH9 means a nerfed def and offence suffers badly.Quote:

i made my king 15 and queen 15
then went queen 20 king 15
then went queen 25 king 15
then went queen 30 king 15
then went queen 30 king 20
then went queen 30 king 25
then went queen 30 king 30
i would suggest keeping both together till lvl 15 (helps in time management, 12 hr issues) then in group of 5 levels as each upgrade will get fixed to 7 days.
