How do you farm without your spells?

Just fully maxed out my TH8, and moved to TH9... and well I decided to upgrade two camps, my spell factory, AQ and then upgraded to 2 right away, Clan Castle... so now, I have no loot. So I would like to get my barracks boosting so that I can upgrade my AQ and my laboratory.

Trying my best to hit up dead bases, but I managed to lose 500 trophies in a span of like 3 hours because I dont have any spells. My clan kicked me out because my last attacks had no spells. :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown: I normally do a Howi and get 3 stars but howi only works with spells. Cant wait to do a lavaloon attacks at TH9 (so if your looking to be patient as I am building up my townhall, youll be rewarded).

All I care about is farming right now. Need to get my AQ up to 10 ASAP. Hard to do without any spells, thinking about gemming.

1100-1300 is the easiest to farm at.

ive done 20 Legos in 24 hours of being tow hall 9. All without spell factory.

Poison spell does nothing for farming.... earthquake does nothing for farming unless you want to use 4 spells earthquake spells to break some walls... I don't have haste just yet. Dark spells are close to pointless. I like the poison spell to kill skeleton traps.

Spent like 5 minutes looking for a dead base... didn't find anything worth attacking.

Finally found one that was 100K each, attacked it but lost alot of time and resources.

I'm farming in Gold 1 with BAM so I don't have to use spells, in fact, I don't use them at all. ;)

My AQ is only at 2. Wish I could do that lol. Need to get my guys up... like way up.

Pure barch with no heroes and no spells is how I did it at the start of TH9 in crystal 2 and 3. People like to talk a lot of trash about barching, but the reality is it is one of the most difficult strategies. Anyone can defeat a base when using expensive troops, spells, and heroes, but getting wins when you have nothing but the weakest troops at your disposal is actually something of a challenge. Keep at it. You will get there. You have 5 months of having both heroes asleep to look forward to (assuming you do your farming right and get enough DE to keep both your heroes down) so it is worth learning how to use inexpensive strategies that build quickly.

i use bam in gold 1 with my newish th 9 acc (if i boost i only use barch and fill the unboosted dark barracks with minnions) just fill 2 baracks with barbs 2 with archers and go at it :) if you dont have spells it dosent really matter as you can easily get alle the loot you need witout spells or heros. if you cant find loot that is worth barching than try farming later in the day :smirk: when yor troops are lvl 6 you should move to cystal 1 because there is way more dark elecir to get :)

Get your giants to level 6 as soon as possible. Level 6 giants crush TH8's. Even with level 5 barbs and archers you will still have a powerful GiBarch army.

Until recently, I never used spells in farming. You only need them in the higher level leagues IME (Crystal 1 upwards). Although I am tending to take EQ even in the lower leagues now, but managed well enough without before it came along.

Why didn't you opt out if you knew you were going to upgrade your Spell Factory? :facepalm: You NEVER attack without spells in war.

As for farming, just barch collectors and mines.

I only ever use spells in war attacks. I'll take a poison a spell in every multiplayer attack but I don't wait around for it if its not cooked. I'm sitting at 2300 and just GiArch, no spells needed. Finding a bunch of inactive bases around here too.

In the first 2 weeks of TH9 i just barch with lvl5 barbar and archers in crystal 3. I also make 50% for bonus.
It is not easy you should chose right bases with semi expose storages or dead bases.
You should target elixir in the first week.

Maxing was good, and of course you have no loot you've just spent it. Funnily enough I have done exactly the same on my second account.

This part is a little more confusing, last attacks? In a war or raiding for loot, if they booted you for trying to get loot in a standard raid then they are a ♥♥♥♥ clan if you went into a war with out spells well that was your mistake and fair enough that they booted you although I would have given you a warning first.

I'd drop down to gold 3 and farm with one barracks doing barbs, one doing archers, two doing goblins and dark barracks doing minions. (I only boost the 4 main barracks.) No spells costs too much. I look for full collectors. And... wait you say no loot? Change the time you loot, some times of the day are better than others, try this link http://www.clashofclansforecaster.com/

Hopefully this helps you out. Next time you war only do it with everything ie, royals and spells and a full CC. Other wise you are setting yourself up to fail.

WELL I HAVE THE SAme problem

And my clan mates suggested that i push to gold one or crystal 3 to get loot so i am doing that. I usually use spells but i am trying not to use thgem. Maybe u should try these too.
