To all hardcore farmers with full lavas

I am an almost maxed TH10 defense wise, 7 towers and 3 cannons left, each 1 level.
My heroes are 20/20 and my lab is completely maxed (gemmed time for upgrades).
I have full legos now and plan on to farm lavas, I calculated how many attacks it takes if I get a elixir profit of 60k and 150k gold each raid -> ~3500 raids, all WITHOUT win bonus
So here is the question, should I stay at gold 1-2 where I am now or should I move up for higher win bonus. Are there many dead bases or crushable TH9's up in crystal or should I farm win bonus in masters/champs?

Where did YOU (especially TH10's) farm lavas?

I farms my lavas at th9 and I am now farming my zaps. I farmed both bouncing between c1 and m3. I think it's the most productive range, excluding win bonus my average gold is 250 and elixir 250 and between 1000 and 3000 de. I hit storages and only occasionally see dead bases. I use gibarch, and only use hereos and spells for a really juicy raid.

Thanks. I found myself to smash TH9's more often, it's easier than I thought but I rely on 4-5 spells to get all storages.
I GiBarch too, may I ask your troop composition?

you farm in gold league
you have maxed troops
you have level 20 heroes
and you need 4-5 spells to clean a TH9

Best range to farm excess gold/elixir/dark is in master league. I have one account in M3 and one in M2.

My targets are anybody that doesn't have level 3 infernos and over 300k combined resources. With the 120/120/700 league bonus, that's over 0.5M each attack. So 6 attacks gives me a wall piece.

Now before you say that your need lavaloon or GoWiPe to do that. My army:

12 giants
10 hogs (I don't need dark anymore)
10 minions
8 wall breakers
rest a mix or archers/barbs and goblins. Around 30 of each.

I use one spell on each attack + poison spell if the CC has wiz and/or archers.

I boost both my heroes while doing a 2 hours sessions.

If I find an outside TH, I'll snipe it. But 75% of the time it's trapped so I skip any that looks trapped unless there is over 300k combined. Than I launch a full attack on the rest of the village and leave the TH there.

The key here is the goblins that will let me clean the storage once one side is cleaned up.

Thanks, I'll try that! And yes it takes me 4 spells (usually 2 rage, 1-2 heal and 1 jump) to 100% a fully maxed Th9 with lv8+ walls using GiBarch, I dont think thats too bad :) there are people who can't do that using gowipe :P

what army composition do you take with you? really interested, as i am farming for heroes and walls right now ;)

I managed to do 5 lavas per day between gold gold 2 and 1 simply by doing 1 boost session and a few attacks before and after the boost session.

2 or 4 barracks boost with BAM gets me anywhere from 3-5 million gold per hour.

Instead of answering your question, i suggest u get ur heros up. Lvl 20 heros is generally suggested to move to th10. Level 20 heros on a max base isnt great. (I completed my remaining lavas after maxing heros) lavas can wait no big rush there

I farmed my lavas (and zap btw) in low champ using gobarch... I was able to up around 4 zap walls a day, and usually made 40k DE min which allowed me to keep both heroes constantly upgrading until lvl 40...

I've done with lavas since a week ago by farming in silver leagues. As a TH10, you'll get much advantages for finding easy bases with juicy loots in silver. :))

Crystal League is best!

I would say master because you're going to need DE for your heros.

I'm only TH9 and still farming my lavas, and I do it in C2. Great number of collector raids for us down here. It works for TH10s as well, just not as much. The reason to this is because most of the people I raid are TH8s, and I raid very few TH9s. Unless I just plan to snipe or do a troll attack though, I never raid TH10s.

i farmed all mine as th10 in c1. 60k profit for elixir and 150k for gold is kinda small. i get more than that on a difficult day

I am currently in M3 just sniping townhalls for league bonus because I'm bored lol

But if you want mass gold/lix, silver or low gold with boosted BAM is the way to go.

I do 200k+ with Barch, sometimes 100k using 50 troops lol

Well i didnt finish my lavas yet but i only have 35 or so left. I farmed both my lavas and legos as a th10 in master 3 with barch. Anyone with 100k gold that i can beat i raid, the bonus makes up for the rest. Great de too

I'm farming them in Titan, living off the snipe bonus. Easy 230k each for a few troops, most days there's a good deal of snipes. Today sucks, but then again there's bad days everywhere.

I was in a similar boat as you, but I worked on my walls and defenses at the same time. I went to th10 in March with having all legos, and just last week I finished all lavas, and have 2 levels of sweeper till max defenses. The whole time I floated from silver 2-gold 2. I only used barch about 2 weeks, when I switched to giarch for DE farming. I was in crystal 2 prior to the matchmaking change, but dropped afterwards, and the loot has always been amazing. Also I never boost barracks, just attack and log off, then come back when troops are ready, and so its worked well.

The past few days Ive been trying crystal 1-masters 1, and relative to silver and gold, its a wasteland. I don't know where the how the rest of you guys are having success up here, because for me its a struggle. Theres so much texting involved to find any bases, let alone one that isn't close to max, that has >100k gold/elixir.

Theres no question silver/gold have the best gold and elixir, but even for DE it seems more efficient to farm at the lower leagues where you can giarch th9s and rushed th10s, sometimes with 50-75% of your army, for at least 2200 DE every 15-20 minutes. The league bonus looks nice for the higher leagues but for me snipes were uncommon, and the th10s often require full army and handful of spells to get the de and the 50%.

Going back to your question, for walls, imo stay in gold, or try dropping to silver and see what you can get. You can try pushing higher and maybe your luck would be better than mine. Also Im assuming its easier for the th9s in higher leagues because they get matched with other th9 and th8s in lower leagues.

Anyways, I just dropped back down to silver after getting frustrated at losing 100k gold nexting in masters, and I've just found 2 bases both containing almost 1 mil loot in total and within 5 minutes of searching. Also, when I barched I was in low gold 3-2 and hit bases with 250k/250k, and went down to silver to farm DE because of the abundance of th9s with full storages, which are extremely easy to smash with max th10 giarch and decent heroes, and like someone else said you should only be using a spell or two if you're hitting th9s and also be working your heroes. On average, I get 2 sets of storages when going for the DE storage or around ~150k gold and elixir. I queue my sf with alternating jump/heal spells because one of each is all you'll need.
