Trophies

Hi I wonder if anyone can answer my question? When raiding what determines the amount of trophies available for a win? I don't mean a third for 1 star 2 thirds for 2 stars etc but the total amount available.

i have recently gone to crystal and found that on most bases the trophie count available for 100% is less than 10.

any info appreciated

No, it is all to do with how many trophies your opponent has, not their level or how difficult it would be to attack them.
