Global report system broken

Today I have probably spent the most time of my life talking on global chat, talking bout attack strategies and miscellaneous things. However many people started asking if I could let them join or told me to join their clan and I simple said Nah I'm good, a few of them threatened to report and mute me unless I let them in/joined their clan. My clan is lvl 100+ btw and most of these people asking me were lvl 50 under. I just brushed off these comments and continued on. Apparently I hit a bunch of these people cause in a middle of a conversation I was chat banned.... in one of my globals 3 players who all wanted to join me decided to band up and report me and talk trash about me even.I have never been chat banned and I have been toxic at times but today it was all normal global banter and just because some kids were angry that they couldn't join or whatever I was banned... I'd don't mind it but I do not want this happening in the future I really think supercell needs to fix how chat restrictions are given out because they can be abused.

Uggghhh....English global.....wicked place, left it a year ago, never looked back. Join Norsk Global, its betta.

I agree, the report system should be removed and there should only be a mute system.

However, Supercell can not agree to this, as if they were prosecuted for someone cyber bullying someone, they would be able to prove that the player has been punished.

In my honest opinion, the report system needs to be scrapped. It is so easily abused, something more complex would be better, or just have a mute system. It still confuses me why Supercell haven't noticed this huge flaw in their amazing game. However, implementing a new reporting system would cost time and people that Supercell don't have. Frankly, Support is bad enough as it is without people reporting players on Global.

Best thing to do is to not engage them at all. When they start begging to join just mute them. Do not tell them no, just ignore them. I personally love the randomness of global but you gotta learn to filter out the noise.

Yea. I had a similar experience. It amazes me how the people interested in making the game better/sharing strategies are banned, but the people who say.. "join", "join here new clan", "_____ join", "any girls?", "need girl clan", "any girls wanna kik?" are never punished.

It's really your fault :p I left these globals at th5, I tried i again 2 months ago. Same thing happened I was in a clan of lvl100+ (I was lvl70 at that time my friend owned the clan) and some guys did the same exact thing to me, I got banned for 2 days, but after that day I learned my lesson.

I am ignoring them I just say nah I already have a clan or sorry you area lvl 100+ yet and continue on with my convo, if they get beggy and start asking why,please and whatnot I mute them, but muting them doesn't make them not see you and I still get reported.... Perhaps if muting the other person they also can't see what you type? I've been in a few dark humour/more older age oriented topics and before I start I usually tell anyone who doesn't want to listen to mute. However they continue gab on about whatever we are joking about isn't appropriate cause they are 10 or whatever and I tell them just to mute me or relog onto a new global, but instead they insist on sticking around and telling us what we are saying is bad.
If we were able to mute other people and in turn they can't see what we type either I'm sure that both parties will be satisfied and problem should be fixed.

Happens in other games too. You get good, massacre everyone, they report you. I tell them they will be banned for doing a false report, but they insist it is "bullying." :facepalm:

However, I don't blame them. I get myself 400-kill killstreaks and anyone who shuts me down becomes half of them. :smirk:

I randomly report people in global when I am bored.

I've rejected many of people on Global yet I've never been global banned....

.... must be some bad luck.
