Haste Spell and Loons

Hi all,

I've been reading quite some comments about haste spell being usefull only with loons attacks.

I now have my haste spell lvl 3, upgrading to lvl 4, and have decided to test it. I tried a few raids with it, using 6 haste spells 2 freeze 1 poison... but I'm really not convinced at all. I was thinking my 6 haste spell would cover most of the map and I would see my loons move very fast to their target all around the base, but in the end, I'm seeing better results using rage spells (I raided a few Nemesis bases which I used to raid using rage in the past, so I can easily compare the results).

Did anyone experience this strategy ? Would you have some replays to share on how to successfully use haste spells on a fully maxed TH10 ?

Maybe you could try 2 Freeze, 2 Rage, 2 Haste, 1 poison. Use the rage on the 2 Air Defences and use the haste to send your loons into the center really quick. I haven't tried this for myself yet but it seems logic.

I'm not a high-level player, but I'm pretty certain that Haste spells are used more to three star TH9 bases! :thumbsup: Against a TH10, I would recommend Rage & Freeze!! :)

I would say the opposite honestly. 1 rage,2 freeze,1 poison & 4 haste. Haste to accelerate balloons into airdefences then rage to be able to destroy core high HP defenses faster

Lavaloonions with rage and freeze has been my strategy for a very long time, but now TH10 have 2 lvl 6 sweeper this has become unefficient. Add to that most people now have a drag in their CC due to the new poison spell and this makes it totally useless, so I switched to ground stategies.

I was hoping the haste spell would help me get lavaloonions strategy back in the game but I have not been successfull with that yet. Was hoping someone could share some replays of sucessfully taking down maxed TH10 bases (with correctly positionned sweepers) using haste spell.

Could have been my post: same here. The haste spells certainly don't compensate the 2nd sweeper and the dragons or hounds in the cc. For casual farming in masters lavaloonion still does it for me, but in wars I had to switch to ground. Seems that for lavaloonion the extra hitpoints of rage (especially in splash damage) is something I am unconciously counting on and leaves me shorthanded when I use haste.

However I'm sure a proper adaptation of the usual strategy as suggested above (haste for airdef en rage for the center) could work as well. But perhaps this old dog doesn't have the energy to learn new tricks anymore...

lol I'm personnally Always willing to learn new tricks ;-) but looks like either haste are useless, or I'm not able to find the right way to use it correctly by myself (probably most chances we are in then 2nd situation here). This is why I'm hoping someone on the forums managed to find the proper usage for it but this doesn't look good until now :-o

As a th9 when I use lavaloonian I bring 3 rage 1 heal and 1 haste I put the haste in between the first two rage spells to speed up the troops in that area works pretty good.

Same here I have been doing badly with haste spells. Imo the second air sweeper is a game changer. You can force a attacker to confront both max multi infernos at the same time, the balloons get melted. And dragon's splash destroys balloons even faster.

This is more or less my gameplan at TH9.

A generic spell build for me is 2 rage, 1 jump, 1 poison, 2 haste. If no jump is required, 4 haste. Due to the drag/loon combos in the CCs, 1 rage goes to the KS, poison for the air skellies, rest of the spells for the loons. I typically try to deploy the rage over an AD and x-bow, while hastes are used to get to the core/through the core to the final AD quicker.

I find haste to be very effective at TH9 right now - more so at L2 when the speed increase surpasses that of a maxed rage spell.
