No you cant get more troops or troops with different stats by modding. I guess these are screen from their own private servers. As long as they are only messing around with 300 giant raids on a fake server I would say who cares? If they start copying enemy warbases to do some practising this should be eliminated.

I think Supercell should hardcode a list of valid game servers in the client or do some sort of public/private key authentification so only valid Supercell servers are accepted by clients that have not been modified.

Once you have decrypted the packet stream, none of that matters.

Now they are using it for war attacks. 31 attacking 2. Sad. It's stuff like this and the lack of taking care of it is what kills a great game.
