How do I tell a clan that I've been in for 1 year+, goodbye?

Just tell them the real reason of your leaving kindly.. i'm sure they'll understand whatever reason you stated. And hopefully one day when you decided to visit them again, they'll kindly welcome you back..

Well i'm glad that i left my old clan in a good way, that few days ago when I decided to visit them for the first time, they still remembered me and even warmly welcomed me back after 11 months long since the departing. Promised them to pay another visit to spend my birthday with them soon..

If the rest of the clan has the character that you do, they will support your decision. Tell them straight, I have had a few leave my clan on occasion the same way, we remember them in a positive way.

Just tell them you made a post on the forums if they have any questions XD

Tell them the truth as to why you are leaving. You can always go back and stop by for a visit with them.

You tell them why. They deserve a valid explanation for your absence. :thumbsup:

Tell them i challenged you and you are coming to my clan to raid and post replays to see who is the best then come join my clan they will check you weren't telling lies after 3 days in my clan i will see that you are better then me and i will kick you :p

I did it. Luckily they understood and didn't try to stop me. I am in Ex Elysium now, a hardcore war clan.

Well, you just gotta be honest with them. I'd expect you to be really close with them since you've been with them for a year... so eventually they will understand. Just tell them you would like to move on, and thank them for everything, and maybe you can still keep in touch with them outside of clash.
