Bad luck? Or something more sinister?

To begin we've all had random disconnects that make us 😭😭 but this disconnect makes no sense.

I've been on my device all morning with no connection issues whatsoever, in fact I can't remember the last time my home internet disconnected me. Got my troops ready for a war raid. Studied the target for a few minutes, told chat I was going in and got responses, then started my attack. As soon as i did I received those bars when your looking for a connection until the countdown was over then bam "you've lost connection". As soon as I hit reconnect I was loaded up and chatting away no internet issue in sight.

Is it really just bad luck or is there something else at play here. It was too perfectly timed and in reality my internet was fine.

Stuff happens, if it happened on everyone's attack or quite a few people I'd be concerned. Just yours? Naw, it's just your connection.

I'm telling that every time I see such post, but I really think SC should handle connection losts way better than they currently do, especially regarding war attacks !! As far as there is no way out once you hit the "attack" button, they should be able to buffer the raid locally and still take it into account once the connection is back. In my experience, most of the time, I'm being kicked for connections being lost for less than a few seconds. For some reason, the game doesn't reconnect me while in my raid, but does reconnect me immediately when logging back in. That should not happen. The game should either reconnect me while in my raid, or should be able to buffer the raid and take it into account when I'm logged back in only a few seconds after.

From what I can tell, this is an issue others have experienced as well. Most likely some sort of connectivity issue when related to clan war attacks, and they should already know about it by this time.

I've seen this issue happen in my clan a lot recently. No connection problems, and the second they enter the attack they disconnect.

More sinister? I doubt that. But....

When I go to watch a "live replay" of a war attack, I often see those connection bars, and I'm not sure if it's my connection or theirs. That, or the replay freezes for a little, or a long, time. Then it makes me wonder if it's safe to do my attack or if I should wait and see if the issue persists....

Anyone know anything about this?

Never had a connection problem in my war attacks. Just bad luck I'm afraid :(

If I don't have all my troops and spells dropped during an attack and I see the orange bars, I start getting nervous. It seems like 99% of the time, normal raiding works okay, but wars tend to have more issues.
