Okay, I've never complained about war match ups, but...

I've never really had a bad match up before in a war. Then today happened. We have 4 10s, 2 9s, an 8, 4 7s, and 4 6s. Our opponents have 8 Th10s, a 9, two 8s, and 4 7s. This will be our 2nd war. They have won 52 wars. How DOES the matchmaking even work, it's obviously not based on skill. Our only Th8 is pretty rushed and has to deal with inferno towers.

EDIT: it's pretty ridiculous... All but one of their town hall 10s have both infernos. And their Th9 had been pretty close to max as a Th8 when he upgraded. Our bottom 4 players really can't do anything. Our top 4 have to do all the work, and none of them can afford to make a single mistake, because we can't attack a base twice now.

Quit whining. Premmie th10 clans are the easiest matchups there are. Level 1 infernos are garbage. Just have a few tanks to soak up (5 golems) or you can stack up giants. Be careful though. Bring 2 to 3 rages and a jump for an easy two star.

We just drew a matchup with a near maxed TH10(obviously gemmed) and 3 more th9s to our one midlevel th9 and 4-5 maxing 8s. It looked like a sure loss but their top gemmed gut only got 2* total and we salvaged a tie. Thank god he had no concept of how to attack(7pekkas, lol). I had banked on losing by 4. Maybe your opponents will stink at attacking?

OP - Don't listen to people who hate on you. It's a well known fact the the match-ups can be imbalanced for stretches at a time. Hang in there and try your best. Keep warring and eventually you will get a fair match-up or even one that favors your clan.

Not everyone can do that. We only have 6 people who even have golems. They have 8 people who have infernos

Two attacks each, so 12 attacks on 8 bases with golems would work.

Matchmaking isn't perfect, sometimes you get a good matchup, sometimes you don't. Could use it as a practice war, try new attack strategies, etc, and give up. Maybe wait a few hours to see how their top guys attack. If they clean up, attack with different troop/spell combos.

Happens to to everyone just had one war and they had 1more th9 and 10 more th 8s. Th6 below we had 15 compared to their 8. All the th8s had max or air defense 5. Level 2 drags have no chance so our th7s couldn't 3 star

NP. Your developed TH9s should be crushing those rushed TH10s.
Our clan just recently warred against a clan with 45 TH10s, while we only have 20 TH10s, then 25 TH9s. We defeated them.
