Giants.. if you max them out you should be able to murder their bases. You could get around 14 to 16 giants in your army and the rest of archers or other troops to back them up. As for spells, you can take 2 rage and 2 heal with you just in case, and for the last spell a poison in case you find some wizards..
If you pick this army, check for dragons in CC.. they can ruin such an attack.
Gowipe. I'm assuming you know this. 2 rage, 1 heal.
loonion will three-star any TH8 you could possibly think of
but gibarch can always get to the core of any TH8 you could possibly think of, but maybe not every storage if it's very well-designed or fully max
GiBarch (Giants 6) dive to any T8 core, at least that's what took the most loot from me back than, always 60%+ destruction.
Only got 2 loonion attacks on all T8 time, both faild hard.
Take any war strategy, will mostly overrun lower Townhalls...

the jump from lv 5 to lv 6 giants is massive, and you can crush th8 with em
Barbs, Archers and heal spells. Heroes for backup and support. Nothing else needed really. The cheapest option, the quickest and most efficient. Other compositions take too long, and while they may get 100%, you only need to get to the storages with barch.
You can't remember what other TH9's used against you when you were TH8? Just about any decent army will flatten TH8's that you attack as a TH9. l use GiBarch as my regular farming army specifically for that purpose.Quote:

Just keeping a nice level queen and lv6 giants under heal usually guts me everytime. I hate it!
The army composition which I use for farming is 14-15 giants, 7-8 WB, one healer and the rest is archers and some goblins. It is very effective.
