You're full of it.
Please stop trying to spread the lie that zapping was only lower level TH's hitting highly developed stronger TH's in low leagues.
SC removed it because it is incredibly imbalanced and dumb to have absolute no way whatsoever to protect your loot, no matter how advanced your walls/defenses/heroes are and no matter how good your base is.
So, ThrobSchneider, stop being a whiny baby and deal with the fact that you have to earn your DE now. k thanks
A TH9 can only take 280k/280k + 1,800 from your storages. If you are losing 450k each and 2k DE then it's your own damn fault for not emptying your collectors/mines/drills before your shield expired. Or you are lying about what you are losing. Or you are keeping a whole bunch of war loot in your CC when you should be collecting it (or spending it). Or all of the above.
You won't always be able to successfully revenge somebody. That's just the way it is. Deal with it.
What are you supposed to do? Cook a raid army, hit find match/next, and find somebody to raid.
I didn't say it was lower level THs doing it. I even zapped up in champs b/c my army allowed for it with my spells. I'm saying that the cause of the zapping "problem" came from highly developed bases hitting underdeveloped bases that happened to have the same TH level (+/- 1) in very dismal leagues--which offered no loot/incentive for winning the battle. Offensively, defensively, these bases cannot defend nor attack the near-maxed out bases that would demolish them, and zapping them was the only option for them other than "Next." Inevitably, these bases were going to feel a bit of a sting in the only way they could, given their farming trophy range.
It was hardly imbalanced. At the most, you would lose 2k oil if you were offering the maximum amount to be looted, 3k, and were hit by 5 maxed lightnings. In less than 7 hours, your drills alone would have replaced that loss. You would PASSIVELY recover your losses while under your shield, plus an additional 5 hours of production. In absolutely no way was it imbalanced. Mathematically, it wasn't even possible to lose more DE than you produced, even if you didn't bother farming for it actively. Not imbalanced.
Learn to math, ya goob.
Following your logic, maxed TH10s shouldnt be allowed to attack new TH9s, because they cant defend against them too. so SC should change the multiplayer search algorithm to the war matching one, so that you can only find bases with approximately the same weight aus your base, shouldnt them? otherwise the defender is unable to defend and that wouldnt be fair
and the was already a solution pre-update: just push up. since th6 i was never lower thand G2 and i wasnt zapped even once, although i had offered 2000+ DE most of the time.
So just tell me, what was the problem pre-update?
If you're in Crystal 2 or higher, you will be "automatically granted" a shield after your DE gets zapped, if they even choose to zap it up there.
EDIT: Or would you like for me to further tear into those who farmed in kiddie leagues and expected to have zero consequences? I was just trying to be nice and offer up the solution to a very, very avoidable problem.
LOL I was about to say the same thing
Glad you could do that math for us. Now do the math on how you get a shield when someone zaps your DE storage and then immediately surrenders.Quote:
