If you war I'd get hogs to 4 at least but other than that go ahead man you're ready.

If you war I'd enjoy TH8 while you can - I'm fully maxing (even lab) TH8. It's the last TH you can EASILY 3 STAR someone level to you.
Max out your walls unless you are going 8.5, if so, then you are ready.
Max your walls 90% and do dark troops
Max walls. Hogs too. They do wonders for me at level4
No way! You need to max golems and hogs first as a main priority, or you won't be desirable for your clan in war. You should also get at least another 100 walls to give you a steady start into TH9 or you'll never finish your lavas and legos.
It is better to fully upgrade your troops before you go to the next level!
