What's the point of upgrading to TH10?

I'm a maxxed TH9 except for walls (25/250 Lavas) and heroes (16/16). I don't see the point of going to TH10 once I max out my heroes and walls. TH9 is the best place to be at for war. You can unlock all troops and spells (except freeze) at TH9, which gives various attack strategies to choose from. Once I get 30/30 heroes, I'll be 3-starring TH9 with relative ease. It's the funnest TH level to be at by far.

At this point, I don't see any motivation at all to upgrade to TH10 once I max out my heroes and walls. Plus, TH10 seems too stressful, which will take my enjoyment out of the game.

For the challenge. Th9 is way to easy to 3 star. On that note I would still max walls and heroes before moving up to th10 because that will make the transition much easier. I loved th9, but the challenge at th10 is what keeps me interested in the game for war.

Your Heroes and Towers can get better.
You get Inferno Tower.
Your walls can get better.
Your troops get significantly stronger, as well as some of your spells.
You gain more resource collecters and towers.

There's plenty of obvious reasons to make the upgrade, staying at Town Hall 9 is just a personal preference of yours.

For war, yes TH9 is the best place to be.

However, TH10 does has its perks, just probably not in war.

1) Infernos make your farming base immune to every single type of farming attack
2) Gives heavy farmers something to do, zaps
3) lvl 7 troops smashing TH9 is fun
4) Farming is fun and faster than TH9

TH 10 isn't stressful. Honestly the pace is much easier after having maxed 9 to the hilt. You will get bored and annoyed with maxing walls and heroes. And in most wars you will get hit by a 10 because you are maxed.

Ultimately do what you want, but I was at 9 for over a year and I was ready to go up when that last lava dropped

Some people like to act like fgts on the Internet because they have nothing else good to do with their lives.

You can get a lot more trophies and not get completely wrecked every time a maxed th10 attacks you. And you can upgrade to th11 if/when that comes out :)
