I need like 350.000 coins to buy/upgrade the duck saloon/candy machine.. Is there a chance that anyone could help me?
Most of us have been there at some point. The best advice I can give is to slow down as much as you can on leveling up. Make stuff and sell at full price....everything you make or grow. Also take advantage of events that give double coins. I see that you do trading. When trading let the other trader know you are low on coins and see if you can sell at max and they sell at default. I know I have done that when trading with lower levels who need coins.
grow corn and sell it at max, you'll earn between 50 and 100k coins per day depends on your level and the time you spend playing
and stop buying everything you see in dd, that's a good advice x)
yep buy less sell more. avoid Trucks and boats and sell all in RSS till you're up to 1 mill coins. I did a test with my slave farm and filled 0 trucks 0 boats and did nothing but sell corn at max price I had my first million by lvl 25 and that's with buying each machine as it came about. I never used them just grew corn and sold at max price. every 5 minutes.
BTW it takes about 2 months to get to level 25 if you're not producing goods and not filling boats or trucks.
ALEXdaMIX, you made an interesting proposition. I fit the profile of a "rich and high level" farmer and have donated coins to my hoodmates who were struggling to save enough coins to buy machines like you. The difference is that you are level 51 or close to it while my hoodmates who asked for coins were level 40 or below. I empathize with players like them and you because I also struggled with making and saving coins when I was below level 40.
Then I had an AHA moment and realized this is a farming game after all and I must grow crops and sell them daily to make coins. I chose to grow soybeans and sold them for max price. Eventually, I reached the milestone of 1 million coins at around level 49. I regret not knowing this sooner when I started playing HD but everyone learns differently. I will happily share the knowledge. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share it with you.
Sadly, my hood is full so I can't donate any coins to you. I hope that you find my advice as useful as my hoodmates did. Good luck and happy farming.
Here's a lil tip ..wait until you save up 15 diamonds for getting Tom 's help...achievements etc. ..Then use him to run and fetch you diamond rings ..it's a little bit of coin investment but not too much... Then sell these rings at full price. ..bam you get back lots of coins and quick :)
Sell corn. It is easy and kick to harvest and you make a quick sell. I also did sojabean if I saw that there was much corn in the DD. Make all kind off goods and sell them in the DD. There is a shortage on bacon, bread, cheese, cream, juice etc etc. That is the only way. It is normal to have a cashflow problem, but I think it is better to know and use a strategy which works for you then ask for coins.
Good point!
Anything animal related us "oldies" will be happy to buy.
Basic things like eggs or milk even.
And keep those machines running as much as you can. Not only will they be making you money but you will be clocking up Mastery points so that as you hit your Mastery stars you will be making more money(on truck orders) and Mastery reduces your production times so you will be producing goods faster.
Hi ALEXdaMIX,
A gift of coins is good, but in HD (as in RL), you'll soon be broke again.
This, as in the above good advice from fellow farmers, is sort of a "Teach a man to fish..." type of help - which I truly believe will be far more useful to you than forking over what you need to buy your equipment.
I was at a lower level, had all my machines for that level and had set a goal of reaching the BRT price of 1,500,000 coins. One glorious day, I reached my goal, and decided to celebrate by decorating my town. My finger slipped while I was scrolling to buy a piece of pavement, and it bought a gold statue 1,500,000 coins, leaving me with an echoing account totaling 200 coins! Aaaaaaagggghhhhhh!
Ok, dust off self, and learn from the Wisdom Masters how to make coins. Fast. Just coins, no worries about XP, vouchers, boats, trucks, townies, decorating, etc... There are a great many wonderful threads on the best ways to make money. Some can be found in the "New to Hay Day?" Section. An entertaining and helpful video on making coins was created by Ranger: The Great Haydini :

Focusing on production (no buying, no buying, no buying), and sell, sell, sell at max price in your RSS will get you right where you need to be, financially. Double coin events are helpful. Keep it up, and you'll have so many coins you can then give away product, help in great ways in Global Events, help in anyway you want to - it's great!
Btw, in a month, I had a balance of 1,800,000 coins... You can do it, too!
Good luck, best wishes!
Sell crops. Anything you can harvest without saws and axes. Soybeans sell really fast as does sugarcane. Depends on your playing style and time you want to invest. If you can grow tomatoes and/or lettuce. Plant those overnight. They never stay in your rss before the ad has expired. Make sure and place the ad on the last bin or slightly before so you arent still loading rss and the ad has gone away.
Bread sells fast and takes just 5 minutes a loaf if you havent mastered the bread maker. Much better return than wheat.
Feed also is a huge selling item. Its only 144 coins per ten bags but uses your surplus crops really well. Grow. Grow. Grow. Have fun. The part of the game where you have to earn your way to that next big purchase can be a great time. Set a goal for yourself. Make it a personal game.
 This:thumbsup:
I was just thinking how much fun this process is, and it would be a shame for you to miss out on discovering this.
The struggle ceases to be a struggle, and becomes a very rewarding part of the gameplay (as in RL).
:thumbsup::D
I hope, ALEXdaMIX, that you've come back to read, and take to heart, these loving and encouraging responses to you.
We care, and wish you all success!
The leader of my nh sells default priced wheat for an hour and claims she makes over 100k. Yes, she has 30-35 trays in her RSS.
We all make this game what we want or enjoy within the confines programmed by the developers. There are farmers over level 80 and do not do the town. Some spend time buying low and selling high. Some do boat orders while others avoid it like the plague. I opened dock and fishing before the mine. My decision was based on not enough coin and it was expensive to do mining.
You learn how to best play the game by playing the game. The byproduct is coin, leveling up, expanding your farm, etc. You develop your own strategy by trial and error. I don't like being on for more than a few minutes so I don't plant and sell wheat. Others love doing that. I have a lot of great GC friends and enjoy the social aspect of it. Others don't. I am in a good nh that I like. We help each other expand farms, silo, barn and town bldgs. And, yes, I do occasionally do wealth transfers within my nh. But, that's how I like to play the game. It's not for everyone.
Good advice!
There is no one right way to play this game.
Make it yours. Play it how you like.
And there are lots of ways to change it if it starts to get boring.
You might even find your own strategy no one here has tried.
After the juice maker I got every other machine much later than when they were unlocked.
Not because of a shortage of coins but because I wanted more barn and silo space first. So I did lots and lots of wheating and just generally farming. Collecting those precious expansion materials one by one from my farm.
And all the while selling almost all my product in my RSS. Partly because it's difficult to get a boat or truck order together without all the machines for your level.
Partly because I just liked producing and selling.
Used to dislike doing truck orders. Now its what I do mostly.
