supercell taking out ghost bases? people that don't play anymore.
I have wondered this to. Is there a time frame of no activity before u get pulled.
SC has said that matching prefers active bases over inactive but they don't delete them.
i think so too..
farming has been a lot harder for at least a week,
you know harder means the frequency of lucrative bases (100k or above for each resources) is getting lower and lower
and the amount of resources available has also seen a massive decline (in the past 200k bases are not uncommon, but now.. bases with more than 150k each are luck of the month.
the dormant bases are wiped out arent they?
Remarks: Details of mine: TH8 in a progresss of upgrading wt, mortar and ad, between 1100 and 1300 trophies

If you read between the lines, it means if you click Next enough times, you'll reach the inactive bases. However, it doesn't take very many clicks to make the search unfeasible.
To be honest I don't think they would delete them.
I stopped playing clash for several months, and now i'm an addict.
What if it happens to the other players, they come back and their base has been deleted, I know i'd certainly not start again.
they wouldn't delete them, they just wouldn't allow them to be attacked if inactive.
like someone said earlier, maybe they end of the list, keep hitting next.
Im pretty sure they removed the inactive bases from search. I am a th8 and was farming at least 6mil a day. Now I can't even find bases over 150k without it being a th10. I made like 500k all morning. They probably saw that people weren't paying as much because they are too greedy and now they make farming almost impossible for normal players in hopes that people will pay more.
:mad::mad::(:(
I find a ton of bases that are just all collector bases
Yes it does. I spent 100k searching and didn't find any collector based. I'm th8 between 1300-1400. If you spend enough golf searching and are lucky you might find a collector base. However by that time you will probably have spent more gold searching than u will make back....
Complete non sense. They aren't greedy in any way, you can still play this game for free can't you? They might have made it harder to find abandoned bases, but it's still fine. You're probably having some bad luck or you're in the wrong trophy range, I'm still averaging ~800K/h.
I just had a few raids earlier all over 300k each resource... i suggest moving your trophy ranges
Im TH 8 and i find 200k a lot in 1200 to 1400 range .
2 friends in my game center left the game months ago and i always visite them and find there base destroyd.
I'm assuming this is sarcastic.
They didn't remove them, they simply made them more difficult to find in matchmaking.
Can you imagine if I took a month off from playing and I came back and my base that I spent $1,000 on got deleted?!
Thats just bad business, and NOT what is going on here.
The least active bases are put at the back of the line in the matchmaking...
You have to factor in the fact that once a ghost base is destroyed, it's gone until the user logs in again....if the user never logs in, well.....
Just because you see skulls (tombstones) doesn't mean the person hasn't logged on....I leave tombstones out all the time to bait attackers into thinking my CC is empty.....
Bases remain destroyed until the person logs on, they don't just spontaneously regenerate....
That is incorrect. Bases that are destroyed gets shielded, and are attackable (and regenerates) once the shields expire.
I keep an eye on bases of old friends who I know for a fact have retired, and I see different buildings/walls destroyed every few days.
Mike
EDIT: as further proof, think of all the abandoned bases you've raided that have zero loot in the storages, and full mines/pumps. As you're aware, the maximum amount you can lose in one raid is 20% of what's in the containers, so the fact that the storages are empty meant that they've been raided repeated since abandoned, until nothing is left.
My friend made a base, and he came back so long later he forgot he'd ever played the game. No, they don't delete bases.
lets close the thread:)
Skulls or not. You mean to suggest that if a user doesn't log on, their base stays destroyed and therefore they can not be attacked? That is complete hog wash. You lose 40% of your base, you get a 12hr shield, if you don't log on, you absolutely can be attacked again after the shield drops.
That is my response to both of your comments. The internet really is contributing to the downfall of society.
Really wish people would stop slapping out non-sense to just ruffle the community.
