Maybe because they are easy to pull off and hard to mess up. I mean, a huge chunk of the strat is dedicated to getting troops/heroes into core, which is something players often mess up.

It's also quite flexible in the kind of bases it can take on. Other strats are more base specific, creating another opportunity to mess up (choose wrong attack for base).

I go GoWiWiVaPe. So far it's very reliable 2 star for maxed TH9 and can 2 star certain TH10s
