You're not ready yet. Upgrade your troops and walls and only then move on to th8.
Offence before defence, you did your upgrades backwards. I'd catch up on all your troop upgrades, dump gold into your walls but don't worry if they're not finished. Upgrade once all your elixir troop upgrades are done
After I saw all the replies you guys sent in, I decided to use gems to insta-finish some troop upgrades. Wizards are now lvl 3 and dragons are upgrading just in time for TH8
