Darn Cats!

After creating a lovely new cat area with pond, busy bee bushes, bird table, areas to climb including hay and various bushes. You think they would enjoy spending time investigating the new sights and smells....?!! Heck no, they ran straight over my newly laid path and straight through my gold wall. At least my kittens seem to like the new area and don't wish to leave.
A word of advice, don't do anything for those darn cats, they don't do anything about those pesky frogs and don't appreciate their lovely new surroundings. I even caught one stalking my chickens yesterday and has to shoo it away.
Don't get me started on those lazy dogs, sleeping when I'm not looking and ignoring the foxes! Tsk tsk.

Hehehe. But they're so cuuuuute!
I think there must be a fair number of cat and dog companions on the Hay Day staff as they have nailed their behaviour so well.

I hate the fact that animals can walk through walls/fences. Real bug bear of mine. :thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

I'm always apprehensive when my animals are walking through the fields when I'm harvesting, afraid they'll be hurt! But happily, they're always okay. :D

Although I am a cat person in RL, I am always disappointed that I don't see blood flying when I see a cat head poking up through my wheat as I am harvesting. *kidding*
I am, however, sorry I got the few pets I did because I wasn't aware of the optional nature of many aspects of the game when I first started. I am sure they are cute to some but I don't find them so.

I wish the animals bug s fixed asap and sc pls we hav got enough pets nw try something new, surprise us, make us excite, keep the game interesting lol too much i guess 😜

I have all the pets. The cats are my favorite. They are just so...cat-like.

I don't care for some of the other pets, like the donkeys. Kinda creepy-looking, IMO. But I'm glad I got all the pets. Because of the gifts. I'll put up with almost anything to get more expansion items.

I have always thought of them as ghost cats, because, on my farm, their house is next to the White House and they always used to walk through the walls. They always used to gravitate to the fields when I was planting and harvesting, just like real cats, always interested in supervising what's going on, but these days they seem more interested in wandering afar. Wish they'd fix that.

I have all my animals in a large fence and they never leave.

You control frogs with ponds. If you see a bunch in an area, put a pond there and they will jump in. Foxes are different but at least they aren't bears! A gob of levels ago, I built a fence around most of them. This corralled them and keep them from wandering. They will disappear and reappear back in that area so it helps.

I have noticed I need less ponds than, say, 6 months ago. Just saying...
