Wow, I am really shocked to hear the success you gained from this event. Well, for me, this event didn't go as expected. It was pretty hard for me to find snipes in crystal 3 and crystal 2. Didn't try crystal 1 though. Anyways the organisers did a great job! Great effort OP!!

One factor maybe is many who were just informed from social media or by clan member (non-participants and non-forumites) until now still expect to get more HITS.... They only heard "sniping event/free loot" which probe has a lots of snipe during event BUT knew nothing about the mechanics.
Second, element or cause that contributes to a result of failure is breaking the rules NOT breaking their shield....

Yeah...not breaking the shield. I agree, that could be a major problem too.

Several hundred searches. Zero flags. Attacked by zero flaggers. Lol. Good try I guess.

I got plenty of snipes. Zero with flags. Zero. I played all weekend including boosted barracks.

Everything seemed the same as it usually is to me too, I didn't notice any increase in exposed ths...

In C3, I noticed a very small increase in snipes.

While most participants recorded little to no snipes (from/to fellow participants), the OP has recorded tons of it. :smirk::rolleyes:

Guess the event was successful for him. The same thing happened on the dry run a few weeks back. ♥♥♥♥!

I don't think it's even possible to go 7 hours without being sniped in crystal.

I'm talking about event participants. I had plenty of snipes that day but only 2 of them had a white flag on the town hall. I wasn't sniped by any event participant as well.

Most experiments wind up with negative results so don't feel too bad. There was no real chance for this to work on a level that is significant and goes beyond the cherry picked anecdotal bits of evidence that confirm your hypothesis.
