Trust me, I wasn't finding many Th9s. The amount I came across offering more than 20 trophies was probably about 4 bases. The rest were Th10s.Quote:

lol nice story, for me my journey to champs at TH9 was far easier than getting to master at TH8, which was like a million times easier getting to 2100 cups at TH7 (which I nvr made it)
TH7 I used this army I felt could 3-star max TH10s , 8 hogs, 20 wiz, 4 drags, thoguht it was the gowipe of TH7 (which back then I also thought gowipe was a 3-star strategy). ya I'd always get to a bit high but end up back at 2030 cups, my goal was master. one day I fell back to 2020, so I gave up, dropped to sivler, and upgraded to TH8.
TH8 I tries using barch to 2600 but I kept failing and so I got to 2300 using barch and used mass drags to 2600, was a piece of cake. oh ya I hit 2110 at TH8 while farming lol, smack in the fact to my TH7 self.
TH9 I farmed to master (smack in face to TH8 self) and ya I hovered around 2800, and then I was at a full DE sotrage and still had like 3 days for my queen to finish, so I decided to push to champs. I was able to not lose atks and I started at 2900, then by the time my queen actually reached the 4d/3d remaining mark, I was already up to 3000. Next day I was feeling confident but I had screwed up one raid at 37%, and I finished my raiding at 3050 cups and then defense took me down to about 3035, so that was a waste. Next day, I boosted twice with no failed raids, and I champs at 3204 I believe, and then wanting to try out the champs bonus at least once above 3200, I did another raid and hit 3213 as my final destination. I heard of people using loonion and stuff like that and how it was so hard, I didn't want to do any of that stuff so I stuck with gowipe, easy peezy. I dropped down to 3000, and then I got my lvl 30 queen a couple weeks later and my king got put to sleep. With my queen I basically lost 0 raids, and I farmed up to champs, smacking myself across the face to my 3-week-ago-self and ya I was proud to hit champs as a TH9 by farming, and it was the last day that champs was highest league, cuz next day titan/legend update came out so I was able to say that i was one of the last people (if not the last) to hit the highest league at the time by pure farming.

Just stick your DE storage and drills out, you'll hit champs in like 4 hours!
Ironically, I also just hit champs for the first time yesterday! However, I'm a th10 so it might've been a bit easier for me than you guys. I just never pushed before so kept failing at "barching for 50%" and decided to put my DE out for a while. Cruised right up to about 3150 effortlessly.

I have given up on 2 pushes myself. Got to 3000 with loonion and the infernos were just killing me so I gave up.
Didn't want to use golem/hounds cause I was still trying to conserve dark to upgrade heroes. Now realized I need the heroes for the last leg. I get sniped by so many th8 champs tho. I just don't have the time/patience to snipe up there.
I'll get my third try for sure after I upgrade the heroes a bit
Yeah I didn't set my th on the outside, I actually got to 3100 and made a new base and it won me 3 out of 4 defenses and got me closer to champs!Quote:

There are no 'get rich quick' schemes that gift you Champ..It's hard work especially that last push..Well done dude.
