Introduction to "Light Elixir"
New and exited dark elixir troops are being made and it is great. The troops advance gameplay on clash of clans greatly and players are always exited when a new troop shows up. Unfortunately, these new troops only affect Town Hall 9 and 10 players, leaving the rest of the Town Hall levels stuck with the same old troops.
(Note: I am a Town Hall ten player so I am not making this to complain)
It's about time that mid level players get some new and exciting troops to help them out and keep them playing until the end. My light elixir idea will open doors to new attack styles for town hall levels 6, 7, 8, 9 and even 10.
Description of Light Elixir
"The substance, light elixir, possesses equal but opposite power of dark elixir. Crafted by witches, this powerful substance can only be contained with a triangular form of storage."
The pyramid shaped light elixir storage is unlocked at Town Hall 6, a level before the cubical dark elixir storage. However, light elixir generator, is unlocked at town hall 7. Unlike the dark elixir drills, there is only one light elixir generator The light elixir generator has a small triangular glass pyramid that fills with light elixir. A pipe is connected to the top of the glass pyramid shaped storage. This pipe connects to a larger metal cylinder. This metal cylinder is bolted to the ground horizontally and three solar panels lean against it. The light elixir collector has six levels just like the dark elixir drill.
It costs the same amount of regular elixir to construct a light elixir generator as it is for dark elixir drill on all levels. Also, the build time is the same.
For the first three levels all statistics for upgrades are the same as a dark elixir drill.
For generators level 4, and 5 the hit points, production rate, and capacity, are double that of the dark elixir drill counter part.
At level six, the hit points, production rate, and capacity of generators becomes triple of a dark elixir drill at the same level.
This is to make sure that the amount of light elixir produced by the generators is always the same to what can be produced by the dark elixir drills. Remember there is only one generator but there can be three drills.
The light elixir storage has six levels. Each light elixir storage level has the same statistics as a dark elixir storage of the same level.
The only difference is that there is adjusted pricing to accommodate lower town halls.
You can upgrade the light elixir storage to level 2 at town hall 6.
You can upgrade the light elixir storage to level 4 at town hall 7.
You can upgrade the light elixir storage to level 6 at town hall 8
Now I will convince you why the concept of Light Elixir should become a Reality
Light Barracks
With light elixir, light barracks will be soon to come. This will allow for new troops to be available for lower town hall players. Sure Town Hall seven players can use their minions or hog riders to attack but they won't have any dark elixir drills to supply a continuous use of these troops. With the light elixir drills, these players will be able to afford using the light elixir troops since they can generate more light elixir. Even town hall six players can get a small taste of the action by stealing some light elixir and keeping it in their light elixir storage.
The light barracks can be bought at level six. The cost of the barrack is reduced to accommodate town hall six players. Town Hall six only gets one barrack but the second barrack can be bought at town hall seven.
The light barrack can be upgraded to level 2 at town hall 6.
Upgraded to level 3, 4, and 5 at town Hall 7.
Upgraded to level 6 at town hall 8.
Another Reason to Love Light Elixer
Light elixir can possibly be used to fuel a new weapon as dark elixir was used to fuel the might inferno tower.
Conclusion
I realize that this would make a massive impact on clash of clans but it could make the right impact. Clash of clans would become twice as exciting with all the new troops and weapons that could come from Light Elixir. The important thing is that the right troops and weapons get made. But, the more styles and strategies there are, the more fun clash of clans is. Maybe it's time for something big like this to revolutionize clash of clans.
