I like the idea of being able to revenge if attacker has shield. Think about it why shouldn't one be able to take back some of the resources that where just farmed from you. Why do we just have to role over and take it. Most of the clashers that attack me I would t have a chance against but would like the chance
Its not there fault someone attacked them after they attacked you.
This is one of those ideas I am completely against. I don't think you realize the level of opening pandoras box your be doing by implementing this idea.
Every single person you raided today, how many have you attacked today? 5? 10? Imageine all of them getting all their loot back from you while you slept, regardless if you got loot from them or not. And they can analyze your base while cooking the perfect army to hit your base.
No thank you. I have more peoe in a given day that I've stolen 250k of each and 2k+ of de than I have on my defense log that I want to revenge. Any good attacker and farmer will. Your have to be a glutton for punishment if you truly want this feature implimented.
I am completely against this idea, because it would ruin the whole purpose of the game for those who farm a lot.
Imagine what would happen if you farmed the entire day, then when you went to sleep you get revenged 10 times.. you'd lose all the loot you got, so you would basically just waste an entire day on farming to donate the resources over night to those who you attacked. This change would just turn the revenge into the only loot source from the game and would make anybody afraid to even attack anymore..
Also, what would happen to the trophies? It's not like you'd give trophies to one only.. and the others be left with 0. Would you lose like 100-150 trophies over night "while you are under shield"?
This idea has so many downsides that I have no idea why it is in the sticky threads written as possible future addition..
What would happen if the player bought a 7 day shield? He bought it to protect loot, not get revenged by peeps

As presented, yes...this is far from a fully formed idea, which is why everyone is reacting negatively. However, the point is that revenge *could* be a really fun aspect of the game that got more players interested in playing *if* it were a little more feasible to actually revenge people, but right now it's so impractical that most people don't really bother.
While this is not the solution, there are things you might be able to do to improve revenges, and after considering to up and down sides to pretty much every option, including letting people revenge while players are online (though not under a shield), and having a period at the end of the shield where players are available for revenge only, here is what I believe is the best option:
Leave players out of the matchmaking queue for a short period of time after they go offline (say 15 minutes, half an hour at the most). Not only would this help players who lose connection or step away for just a few minutes in the middle of playing by reducing the chance they get attacked during that time, it would leave a window for players seeking revenge, greatly increasing the chances of actually being able to revenge someone when checking the list.
In addition, I think Supercell should make it easier to see who is actually available for revenge. Instead of clicking each revenge button, only to be told player is online or has a shield, have a single button that says "Take Revenge!" that automatically brings up the first base on your revenge list that is actually available for revenge (unless no bases are available), and then gives you the option to Attack or Next to the next base in the list that is available.
