HELP with GoWiPe TH8 3 stars?

I understand that Mysterious, and thank you for responding.
i would like to perfect my gowipe if possible. i know there are many attacks which i am exploring. however at this point i have maxed my gowipe troops and waiting for my lvl 4 hogs. therefore i am practicing gowipe and would like to hear from ppl in the forum on their take - if they use gowipe and see how i can tailor my gowipe attack and attempt three stars more often.

again, yeah i have slight confusion on knowing the base which would be gowipe or goho and such. again i am waiting for my hogs to lvl up. i have done a few GoVaPe,GoWiVa etc.
i just like to get my attacks down...

Throw away the idea of using PEKKAs, and start using valks instead.. earthquake to get them into the core, heal them there, then send in some loons to clear the defenses on the other side of the remaining walls.

Yeah, some people act like it's bad players that say that GOWIPEs are two stars then show how they can three star bad bases.. Any attack can three star most of those bases. I say GOWIPE is a two star strategy because we get hit by GOWIPEs in wars over and over and against our stronger 8s, they're never three stars, meanwhile we three star their 8s with dragons, hogs, and GOVALOs. In my experience, GOVALO is just as consistent for getting two stars with a MUCH higher 3 star chance (most of our failed GOVALOs finish at like 90%, most failed GOWIPES against us are 50-70%)

I recently tried tweaking my GoWiPe army composition to make it a 3* strategy and it worked! Here's what I used:

3 golems
21 wizards
level 5 pekka in cc
8-10 wbs
a giant and archers for luring and for corner buildings
Spells; 2 rage 1 heal

Attack in the same way you would when doing a GoWiPe.

totally forgot to bring wbs... note to everyone.. wbs are very importantt must have them for gowipe... any type of gowipe lol...
totally forgot about wbs.. i am cooking more troops now to try this lol

lol.. i was wondering why i had so many wizzies.. lol and then when i tried to go break the wall i was like wheres the wbs? lol.. im sure that person will share that replay with their clan..

u think this strategy will work with maxed th8?

i have no idea why, but yet another two stars in war... and every time it's that nasty dragon in the cc..i have everything down but killing that dragon.. that dragon really screws me up...

OR is there another attack other than hogs or gowipe? it's that dragon every time... plus i have to deal with maxed th8 defenses gawd..

Lure the cc with a few hogs use an archer to bring it over to corner and drop a few archers and wiz to kill drag.

I think my biggest problem is when i know theres a lvl 4 or higher dragon in the cc.. i get scared and not sure how i can successfully kill it. usually i lure it to a corner then send in my golem so it chases after my golem and then murder it from behind with the archers and wizzies. i think that's my problem then my golem dies too quick?

I find the trouble with GoWiPe and also GoWiVa at TH8 is that they are having problems getting stuck taking down walls while remaining backside defenses are firing. I think it is best to choose to start the attack (Deploy your Golem spread) on the side which has the most defenses. So that side will be taken of early. Also, add in some Hogs or Loons into the mix to deal with backside defenses.

I would highly suggest the cc always be the pekka. Max pekka is a much more considerable increase in stats compared to max hogs. On top of this it limits your deployment options as 5 hogs are limited to the same drop spot. The option to deploy them surgically is a big boon, especially on the back end.
