I'm a three star war attacker in a top ranked clan. When I saw his video 2 stars win wars, I thought it was funny as hell. Especially when he showed his war log as a sea of red. And when the 2 examples he used to back up his statement were 2 wars where the 2 star count was equal/a wash, and the 3 star raids were what actually cost them the wins. It was hilarious to me that someone who was not a war person was telling ppl how to win wars.
With that said, his video regarding the vitriol from the war community is spot on. Hard core players in winning clans can be harsh. For some of us, developing 3 star strategies, experimenting with different raid styles, and planning war raids for hours is the height of strategy and really challenging to execute during a real battle. But not everyone is into that and there's nothing wrong with that. I've had ppl ask me what they can do to get better. They're frustrated because despite trying, they're just not great war attackers. I answer them "don't get better at clash, just be good at your job and your family". It's a slippery slope and so many of us fall into this clash is life mentality. We ridicule casual players for being noobs and not having perfected the latest greatest trend in base design and war raiding.
So Molt, if you're out there...keep on doing what you do. Ignore the haters. The game is for fun. And it looks like ypu've channeled your love of the game into something productive so you're one up on me.
Well said and very even handed. From browsing the looking for a clan forum, I would guess 90% doesn't realize how far the rabbit hole goes when they say they want to join 3 star clans to learn how to do 3 star attacks. It's not just learn and rinse and repeat ...Quote:

Honestly, I think this is the case of Molt unknowingly and unintentionally provoking this attack. They interpreted this as false information, in which he tried to back up with maths. As Onehive said, it was the defending it with maths that resulted in the #moltmath thing (he did say he "probably shouldn't have done that afterwards". Before the defending it with maths, he kept quiet. In his video he even said that "everyone is allowed to misspeak".
My opinion on the "two stars win wars" is that it doesn't even make sense. "2 stars win wars" could mean going for two stars (town hall ambiguity here) will win you most wars due to clans being bad (not sure how much of a truth this holds), it could also mean its the two stars that contribute the most total stars (like Molt was trying to defend with maths) (and it's truth depends on the clan but the statement is utterly irrelevant). It seemed like Molt was trying to use maths to argue the latter while presenting an irrelevant statement that could easily be interpreted as false.
Even saying "3 stars win wars" is irrelevant aswell. You could actually mean is that in a lot of wars the fact that you achieved more 3 stars than the enemy clan and this was enough to offset a difference in "2 or more stars" or a difference in "1 or more stars", thus resulting in you getting more stars and winning the war. You could also mean that most clans are only capable of getting that 2 star, so if you manage to pull off 3 stars (assuming you pull off more 3 stars than the amount of bases that aren't 2 starred) you'll win those wars.
I don't think the community has got worse. I do have sympathy for you, but I also understand the war community at the same time. Here's an analogy, it's like a person disturbing a wasp nest not knowing it's there, and then blaming the wasps for stinging them. You probably weren't aware when you posted the video that a "wasp nest" was near. You didn't mean any harm to the "wasp nest". While I would have sympathy for the person being stung, I can't blame the wasps for stinging them. In the same way the wasps would be trying to defend their nests because they perceive you as a threat (despite your intentions), the war community feels it's under threat due to "misinformation".
Molt I'm sorry that you got "stung" but please don't continue to insult the war community though, in the same way its not a good idea for a person who's just been stung to go further provoke the wasp nest unless they would like to get some more stings.
Edit: just read the comments and heard that even Clash with Cam gets ♥♥♥♥, and as far as I'm aware he hasn't provided any misinformation aside from failing some 3 star strategies. That is bullying. I personally love watching clash with cam attempt 3 star strategies since I'm in his position and often fail myself. Maybe there is more spite to this for some than just simply "defending the wasp nest", I know OneHive was just trying to discredit the information by any way he could (and only after the 2nd video), but some people may have taken it to the next level. In that case they need to stop. No-one should be "stung" for using gowipe, unless they go and say "2 stars win wars" and then defend it with maths.
Another Edit: Molt please don't generalise the 3 star war community. Not everyone has been hating on your channel. And even fewer take it to the next level where they hate completely unprovoked.
^Well said. Unfortunately, lately it seems there are a lot of wasp, and it's getting toxic with the bullying (not just molt, but bullying 2 star attackers as well).
I think most clan's wont be all consistent 3 star attackers. I think for many, a mix of competent 2 and 3 star attackers will win you 85% of your wars. There is a place for both 2 and 3 star attackers in most clans, and even fair play. There is no need to bully others just because they don't want to bunny grind 3 star raids ...
Edited: I would hope and like to think the 3 star war community is not filled with wasps. I think we need more rational 3 star attackers to voice their opinion (like above) so they don't get drown out by the (hopefully) vocal minority of wasps. Thank you for voicing your opinion and being a voice of sanity.
I'm a mature, active, 3-star attacker in Clash who can definitely respect both Molt's vid on the state of the community and the 3-star attackers' response to his absurd "2 Stars wins wars" vid, but this post made me lawl.Quote:
