Uneven clan wars

So, yeah. In every clan war my clan has done since the update, we have either been so over leveled that we know we don't have a chance from the start, or WE are the ones overpowering the other clan. Take our last clan war. My clan (#8CL9QQUL) was pitted against THIS clan (#PL8OCQJP). We lost 8-55. We knew we didn't have a chance from the start, so it got us depressed for the entire 2 days. My two accounts (primal_cookie and bifflefan16$) and my brothers two accounts (AlphaOmegaPower and Primal Star) were the only people to attack. The war before that, we won 34-2 against a clan that didn't have a single TH7 in the war (our top 3 are mmy, AlphaOmegaPower and primal_cookie)(mat is never on anymore and Mozzy hates war)Supercell really needs to fix this. It's gotten out of hand.

I think the more "average" your TH levels are, the more you tend to get reasonably even matches.

From the sound of it, you are very low level in terms of TH's (the implication of "didn't have a single TH7 implies you are mostly around that), and medium numbers (the scores would suggest either 20v20 or 25v25) so the system will find it hard to find matches without broadening the search.

Because most players get throough TH1 - TH7 in at most a couple of months, then spend more than that at TH8, and more again at higher levels, the overall number of TH7s is relatively low, particularly ones who are actiove enough to have formed a clan composed of mostly players at that level.

We have most of our players at TH8 or 9, and playing at 25v25 rarely get an obvious mismatch - although of course we do sometimes get opponents who hardly try so we hammer them by 30+ stars.

One of the biggest problems with people complaining about mismatches is that they don't understand where their advantages lie within the war map. Our last war we had 8 townhall 10's to the opposing clans 12 townhall 10's in a 30v30 war. This means if all the townhall 9 and below bases got three starred, we would should lose as townhall 10's don't get three starred unless they are severely under leveled. Our townhall 9's were much stronger than their townhall 9's. In fact their number 1 townhall 9 was weaker than about our first 5 townhall 9's. So we had a competitive advantage at the townhall 9 level whereas they had one at the townhall 10. In the end we won 68-66 because we were able to take advantage of our th9 strengths and they did not take advantage of their townhall 10 strengths. In reality it was an even matchup even though it could seem unfair to both sides.
