Since I joined the game my global chat has always been with arabic people. I've reached a point where I never even go on global anymore because my chat is full of squiggly lines. I am in the USA btw and it's ridiculous.

Are you... set to English Global?
when you first start clash they put you in the global from your location, no matter what language setting you have, this means if you set your game to english, but are located in a diferant country the english setting will forever put you into that global.
This happend to me aswell, I live in switzerland (german language) but play the game on english, now i sadly have no chance to ever get into a english speaking global becuase both languages german and english put me in german globals. (even though id MUCH rather have english globals...)
best advice i could give you is sadly a bad one, change your language to norsk, most people speak english there in global

Language, set it to English.
The game will restart and you will be set into an English global.
