Farming! The working mans diary? Bad day? Good day?

Ok. I'm a th 9. Near maxed defences, Heroes 20/20+, completed lvl 9 walls now farming lavas.
how does the working man with a family progress past here?
take today. 10 August 2015. Came home from work. Boosted 2 barracks to do my normal bam in silver 1 ( cup range 1300 - 1400 ) NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. Couldn't even upgrade 1 wall. Yeah I got some dark but that's all worth talking about.
So the question. Supercell? How does the working man progress past this point. 2 hrs aday just is not enough, never will be. We (adults) can't play all day like the kids do in my clan I'm in.
So anyone out there in my situation let me know what you do and how you see it

I'd move up to the gold leagues. There are fewer TH7s and below up there, so you won't get hit as hard by the loot penalty. It is possible that you'll lose more when you're attacked, but I think the decreased time spent nexting will be worth it. I keep my account at about 1800 trophies. I keep my TH exposed and am almost always sniped, so I lose very little to attackers.

Silver isn't the best for farming using BAM at TH9 because lots of players have their storages inside the base with max defence. I suggest moving up to Gold 2 or Gold 1, and BAM there because you can easily pick on TH8's with full elixir storages, as well as the amount of full collector raids there are!

As for having no time for the game, 2 hours boosted is practically 8 hours of gameplay from a normal kid, playing Clash for a day :)

Gold. 3-600k combined per raid. Gotta go for storages though.

Only got lava's and troop upgrades left so going to slow down, take my time and enjoy.

Of course SC want you to boost, spending money on gems, and it will speed things along, but it isn't essential.

Try moving up or down trophies

I am pretty much exactly where you are in TH 9. Just a few legos to go before I start on lava.

Go up to the Gold Leagues. I consistently get a MINIMUM 400k combined on most raids without too much searching. They will be storage raids but mostly TH8's so no problem there haha.

My experience with Silver is that it is either overflowing with awesome loot or dry as a bone.

I'm TH8, and I've been having great luck in Gold 2/1. In a boosted session today, I got 2.4m gold for a air sweeper upgrade and I've done like 3 or 4 skull walls. Biggest raid I had was 700k. 500k gold 200k elixir. Could've been a mil but I'm capped on exilir and saved troops.

Lavas aren't suppose to be easy man. If you have max defenses then you clearly are capable of saving up more than 3 million gold for a wall. It's a grind for sure but just keep at it. It will be much harder to do if you wait until town hall 10 to do it.

On the bright side, your wallet won't weigh you down as much when you go out walking. :)

I boosted 4 barracks today with Barch armies. Made about 3.2 mil of each resource and scratched up 5k dark. Just collector bases in gold 1 around 1800-1900 range. Not too bad...would like closer to 4 mil. Upgraded an air d to level 7. 💰

I farm using laloonion in m3 as a th10 these days. 10 attacks per day, usually 700-1100k combined per raid, logoff after every raid. Very casual and easy looting for me to focus on studies
