I'd go with the balloons.
Get your spells up then do wiz. Use the DE to get king to 5 first then do hogs.
Loons you won't use much till TH9 so make sure you have lvl5 when you upgrade that before then, now its not much of a use.
This account is supposed to be a semi-rushed account.. but i'm not playing it enough to warrant it being rushed. I wanted to do walls and all lab upgrades, then hit the next townhall.
Now that the elixir upgrades are so dang expensive (minimum of 1M per upgrade), I have started doing defenses instead of walls to keep builders busy.
Ah well..
