Arcana Absorbers ( a way to deal with spells)

My first post, this tower is a way to deal with spells and provide a kind of defensive spell.Arcana defenderRange fiveHealth level one:300 Health level two: 400 health level three500 What it does, when any spell is used in battle anywhere it pops up, if the spell was used within its range it can absorb and reuse some of its energy depending on the spell♥What it does to lightningLevel one: absorbs 50% of damage,and can redirect 25% of energy into any troops within rangeLevel two: absorbs 80% and redirects 40%Level three: absorbs 100% and redirects 50%What it does to healLevel one: limits heal spells power of 3/4 of its strength and then heals buildings and cc troops within range by 1/2 of its powerLevel two: cuts heal by 1/2 and heals defence by 3/4 spell strengthLevel three: cuts heal by 3/4 and heals defence by 100% spell strengthWhat it does to rageLevel one: cuts strength of spell by 25% and increases speed of defences and attack power of defence by 20% of the defences original stats. Increases cc troops power and speed by 20%Level two: cuts strength by 50% and increases defence power by 30%Level three: cuts strength by 75% and increases defence power by 40%Jump spellLevel one: cuts spell duration by 25%Level two: cuts spell duration by 50%Level three: cuts spell duration by 75%Freeze spell (freeze does not affect arcana absorber)Level one: cuts spell duration by 25% and freezes attacking troops within range for 2 seconds(regardless of spell level)Level two: cuts duration by 35% and freezes attacking troops for three secondsLevel three: cuts duration by 50% and freezes attacking troops for four secondsThe tower takes up same room as tesla and is hidden like tesla. When its activated it appears out of thin air. It is unlocked at town hall level five (same level as spell factory) and it costs 200,000 gold to build. At town hall 8 you get a second one and can upgrade it two level two at a cost of one million. At town hall ten you can upgrade to level three for two million. Not sure what it should look like. Every time spell is used within its range it loses 100 hp

Hello welcome to the forums i like the idea and a little addition when it absorbs the spell it would go to your spell factory and it will be the same lvl too

At what town hall do you unlock this tower?

You unlock it at town hall five, same town hall as the spell factory

Not really, it has a very small range and can only absorb some of the spells power

However I think many will appreciate the amount of thought and level of detail you put into your idea, and it's relatively fresh and different. Keep them coming!

I like the idea of a defence against spell and redirecting the energy it neat. This is too powerful though, absorbing 50-100% of lightning is too much.

Yeah, I guess completely stopping a lightning would be to much, how about 30% for level 1, 40% for level 2, and 60% for level three

I'm not really sure what values would be appropriate myself. They're just needs to a be balance between making a defence like this worth while to use and still keeps spells useful. Spells could also be affected other ways like changing it's radius. Or instead of the spell being completely affected only what the defence touches would be affected. The spells could damage the defence, maybe harnessing and redirecting all that power burns it out. Maybe the defence has a fire rate so it could take out one out of 4 lightnings dropped, all at once, near it but not all.

I like this idea, what about for every spell used within its range it loses 100 hp making it a lot weaker

How would it ruin spells? It has a tiny radius of only 5 spaces so as long as you don't use a spell in that radius it won't affect it at all, and at no level does the tower completely stop the spell, it just weakens their power and every time a spell is used it loses 100 hp so you can easily destroy with troops then use your spells

How about if it was a lvl3 spell and then the arcana absorber sucks it in well 30% of it you would get the spell but it goes to your spell factory as lvl 1
Example: someone attacks you with a lvl 3 freeze spell it gets sucke up by the arcana absorber and then it goes to your spell factory as a lvl 1 freeze sspells gain i think this is a good idea

But what happen if your spell factory is full?

Then you wouldn't get the spell in the factory
