Another fair ban

So I've been banned for an offensive base, normal two day ban, so I've got the spare time XD.....

I have two bases which could have resulted in my ban and i'm wondering which one:confused:

The first base simply says 'boats and hoes', this is from the hit movie 'Step Brothers' and should/could only offend a boat or a hoe, neither of which i would think play clash...

and the second base is a two finger salute..... the two finger salute comes from the year 1415 at the battle of Agincourt, where the English battled the French and their superior numbered army. The English longbow men were well known for their accuracy, distance and being able to fly a lot of arrows per minute, compared with the french that had cross bows which took an age to load and their distance was poor. When an English bowman was captured by the french army they would cut off his two finger preventing him from ever firing a longbow ever again, when the french were captured the English would stick up their fingers to show that they still had them and to annoy the captured french soldiers. The English longbow men slaughtered the french...... So back to my base, this two fingered salute base should only cause offence to the archer queen and then only if shes French and i do not think she is.... So please remove my ban..:cool:

Looking at the bold word in your post, what other meaning is there for hoes besides what you mean? You know a derogatory word.

It's a digging tool. Its derogatory homophonic equivalent isn't all that bad though. Kind of a term of endearment among gangbangers. I think it's a French pride thing that got you banned.

Anyone can see that your intended use of the word "Hoe" is not the garden tool.
Even if you were as innocent as you claim to be, the other meaning for this word has no place clash and supercell were right to push an infraction onto your account.

Oh, of course, but still due to based on Supercell terms:

Post any information that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, libelous, or racially, sexually, religiously, or otherwise objectionable or offensive.

Just because it isn't all that bad, it is still up to supercell to determine if the 2 day ban is justified and in this day and age, the word is considered offensive.

To be fair even this bit is a load of rubbish as medieval longbows required 3 not 2 fingers to draw due to the high draw weight of the bows in use. - https://bshistorian.wordpress.com/20...glish-history/

As both of these bases fall foul of the rules and no amount of dis-ingenuity or false innocence on your part will sway SC either way.

I have seen pictures of people that try to make a V sign posted into comments on the facebook page but image two lines of walls in a v formation with the rest in a solid oval underneath that and that's pretty much it.

With regards to whether or not it is the offensive or the 'peace' version of the sign I, personally, would always assume that they are attempting the offensive version of the sign and ban accordingly, though that might be because I am a cynic!

This is the pertinent part of the OP’s initial post. Everything else is nothing but an attempt to justify and wave off tbe whole affair by a half smart smart-alec. Nothing more.

OP. You knew your bases were dubious. You were caught out. You were penalized. End....

All you have done is let your clan down. Grow up and play the game as intended.

I have seen some great art work within bases, we should be given free gems for our work not banned, sadly some art can offend but art is supposed to create feelings :saywhat:

My clan went up in the U.K. after after my ban, we're now number 8 :facepalm:

what if squares and circles offend me because a flag that did horrible things to jew was a square that had a circle in it? and something being offensive is subjective in nature, people could get offended by vowels and the persons name is something like gfbbv

I highly doubt your base designs would be considered "art" although I have seen some really cute designs like the hello kitty one or the pikachu one.

How do you know that it was a base design you got banned for? Someone in my clan has been banned for 2 days and doesn't know why.

Correct gay also means happy, but in common usage the phrase these days, has ones preferred relationship option attached.
Therefore we would assume that the common usage is applied to keep up with the times and would still ask the question to why you wouldn't simply post ( I'm Happy ) if a flame war started.

If you're gay , congrats own it.
If you're trolling , prep for unwanted heat.

Its common for forum trolls to test the waters with such phraseology.

I sorta want to think its automated, was on global the other day (yes i know don't go there) and saw someone with a base designed to look like a kitten (yes an actual cat/animal) told him i found it offensive (why would I be offended by a base? what am I 6?), took a screenshot and sent it to supercell, about 40hrs later I received a received this message.

This kinda goes in line with a lot of stories i've heard, some of which i'm 99.99 percent sure were told accurately. I imagine they just can't keep up with the sheer number of players and just auto-ban any complaint(maybe only the ones with a screenshot attached).

Kinda messed up if you ask me. If true it's also messed up that people that probably came to the forums with legit problems from getting unfairly banned, we all just told them to stop trolling basically.

You really need to re-read the entire thread from beginning to end. Then maybe correct the faux pas you have made in your claims. I will leave you to find them.
