Alan's TH9 Progression Thread

Welcome all to my TH9 Progression Thread. My IGN is Alan and I'm the leader of Entone Massive. After being inspired by following Mungo's TH9 Progression Thread found here: (http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...ression-Thread) I though I would start my own to document my progress and thoughts along the way.

Background info:
Started playing clash Approx Oct 2014,
TH9 achieved on 18th July 2015.

I was not a defensively maxed at TH8 and my decision to move up to TH9 was based on the prospect of gaining better offensive troops for war as I am able to 3* alot of maxed TH8's in war with my Lvl 4 hogs.

I am going to try and hold off putting my Xbows down until I've got my war TH9 troops to the levels I would like.

I hope you enjoy my ramblings.

Current upgrade spec

Day 21 of TH9

My AQ went to Lvl 4 today.

Builder 1: Dark barracks to Lvl 5 (4 days, 22 hours left)
Builder 2: Wizard Tower to Lvl 4 (1 day, 19 hours left)
Builder 3: Air Defence to Lvl 5 (1 day, 18 hours left)
Builder 4: Spare for walls and object clearing

I've been raided for big losses over last few days while AQ was upgrading so I'm going to try and keep one builder free most of the time for walls.

My farming aim is DE approx 15k per day using Gibarch (level 5 troops at the minute).

I like the base layout so you can see each structure and upgrade left to do, I may have to use that! Well done sir!

I can't claim any credit for that, credits should go to Mungo I seen him use it too. Thanks for the comment though, hope you like the thread.

If you want my suggestion, always keep 1 builder open for walls and always keep 1 hero being upgraded.

Day 23 of TH9

Farmed 6 mil since last update to upgrade my giants to lvl 6 so just over 9 days to go.

Builder 1 - AQ upgrading to lvl 5 (1 day, 7 hours)

Builder 2 - Dark barracks to lvl 5 (2 days, 20 hours)

Builder 3 - Air sweeper to lvl 2 (2 days, 18 hours)

Builder 4 - free for walls and objects.

Day 25 of TH9

Farmed 5 Skull walls, Elixir for army camp upgrade and 20k DE. Giants 7 days, 6 hours left to go in lab.
Next on list to upgrade is Wizard Tower to lvl 5 and need to farm 12.5k DE before AQ goes to level 6.

Builder 1 - Army Camp to Lvl 7 (4 days, 16 hours)
Builder 2 - Dark barracks to lvl 5 (20 hours)
Builder 3 - Air sweeper to lvl 2 (18 hours)
Builder 4 - Free for walls and objects.

Just a side note we won another war against a good lvl 4 clan (5 wins out of last 6 wars so I think we are on a good roll). For me personally I picked up 5 stars without AQ too, so I was happy with that.:D

Day 27 of TH9

Last 2 days I have been pushing from G3 to C3 to find where the best DE is and I've found G2-G3 to be good with plenty of 1k+ DE bases so I'm going back down there. Farmed DE for AQ upgrade to Lvl 6, gold for Wizard tower upgrade, 1 lego and a few skulls.

Lab - Giants to Lvl 6 (4 days, 10 hours)
Builder 1 - Army Camp ( 1 day, 20 hours)
Builder 2 - AQ to Lvl 6 (1 day, 12 hours)
Builder 3 - Wiz Tower to Lvl 5 (2 days, 6 hours)
Builder 4 - Free for walls/objects (going to use for traps too)

GG - 160 mil
EE - 173 mil
HH - 556 K
