What if there was a thing where you can speed up building creation for half, 1-fourths, or 3-fourth of gems? Like for example, my cousin is building a Dark Barracks and like you could speed it up for 50 gems to like get it down from 21 hours to 12 without fully finishing the building. this would be good for players who have a little bit of gems and really need a building built and have enough to speed it up. Like me.
Strangely worded- but I understand what you mean. Can't say I'm a fan of this idea when I think about the complexity should it be implemented... Each building selected would have a bunch of extra buttons. Just wait it out, or gem it.
Why not just wait until the clock is at 12 hours and then gem it, it's the exact same thing.
Just reverse it. Boost your building after the X amount of time you wanted it.
Well, it's still an idea, I mean...also "bunch of extra buttons"
1. Only 3 extra buttons
2. What if there was ONE with like a gem logo and it had a drop-down menu? Then you could select which one.

or teaming up your builders would be so awesome, id much rather upgrade one thing at a time 5 times as fast than 5 things 5 times as slow...
I like the idea of having options between 1 and 0(complete or not). I actually would have a use for this, like when my wizard tower is 1hr out from being finished but the war starts in 30mins and unfortunately I dont have enough gems to knock of an hour.
Also, unfortunately thats the only time I would use ilthis feature. Even then I would wait like a minute before the wars starts and then use what gems I have to finish the tower. Really it doesn't matter any time else because it will get there whether you gem it or not. Your not missing out on anything by waiting.
Me personally, I rarely use gems snd only use them for specific reasons which are; builders, geming towers that will finish upgrading no more then 10 mins after war starts and only if that tower is critical to the base design, and lastly, geming troops if my attack will win us the war and I dont have enough time to train an adequete army.
While this is a good idea, not many people would use it. Finish now is sufficient for the majority of people.

Your wiz tower will still function during war - at the previous level. You are talking about gemming it to help during a war, yet it has remained nonfunctional during the rest of the building process, providing zero defense for your regular base.
The likelihood that the extra level of defense will make the difference between a 2 star and a 3 star attack is minimal.
Then again, you are talking about gemming no more than 10 minutes (although you say earlier 30 minutes)....either way you talking about 20 gems or less (1 hr is 20 gems).
Gemming troops must be where SC makes the money. It is 15 gems to gem a PEKKA. For 10 gems you can boost the barracks and pop out PEKKA every 11.25 minutes for the next 2 hours.
It gets even more ridiculous when it comes to gemming spells.
Using the standard 1 gem = 1 penny formula, it might not be a big deal for people to just gem those PEKKA (or any other troop), but a little bit of patience will make that boost a much better deal.
