th 7 and th8 farming

I am about to upgrade my townhall to lvl 8. Is the loot that bad at th8 or is it similar to th7

I'm TH8 at around 1200 cups and there is a lot of loot
I mean a lot a lot

I might be really lucky but those are all raids from last 3 days. Easy to find at least 200k/200k
